My self-summary
I'm not wrapped too tight. I believe that pessimists are pleasantly surprised on occasion and optimists live with perpetual disappointment. I believe the glass is half empty...and cracked...and possibly dirty. I don't consider myself depressing, however, since I still see the humor in it all. I think sarcasm is perfectly acceptable, as long as it is not at the expense of friends and family.
Given the chance I will warp your sense of reality. I, myself, am already warped.

Have you ever noticed that everyone else in the world is crazy?
Have you ever pondered the infinitesimally small or the vastness of the universe to the point of vertigo?
Have you ever thought on the infinite until your mind shut you down?
Have you noticed the more you learn the more ignorant you become?
Are you still looking for the answer to Life, the Universe and everything?
Do you believe in the 9/10th rule?

If so, what the heck is wrong with you?! (but please get in touch with me)

I have strange tastes in books and movies. I'm attracted to things that challenge my sense of reality and you would need to feel the same way.

My match must be intelligent and able to hold one's own in a conversation involving more than the weather, unless you can make a prolonged discussion of the weather interesting, in which case have at it.
I’m really good at
Whatever I put my mind to.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies/TV: 12 Monkeys (love the movie, the TV show is unexpectedly good), Guardians of the Galaxy, Buckaroo Banzai, Big Trouble in Little China, Game of Thrones, Fringe. Brazil, Zero Theorem (basically anything from Gilliam), Twin Peaks, Safety Not Guaranteed, Person of Interest, Hannibal (TV), Agents of Shield, Rick and Morty. Fullmetal Alchemist is pure genius, as is Steins;Gate. Wonderfalls on DVD. I miss obsessing over LOST.
Stephen King, especially The Dark Tower series, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (in all its forms and iterations). American Gods (and all Gaiman), Lexicon, anything by Scalzi. Loved The Magicians trilogy by Grossman. Many more!
Love musicals and comedies. Recently saw Book of Mormon (again) and Hand to God.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working late, but looking for an excuse not to.
