My self-summary
I am a creative and adventurous person that enjoys getting out and experiencing the world. I frequently enjoy live music shows and art galleries when there's something interesting happening. I also enjoy making art and other things with my hands when I get an idea. Doing things outdoors is fun so I enjoy camping and scuba diving. I started working my my dive master this last summer which is the first certification for professional scuba diving. Diving isn't what pays the bills though so my real job is doing IT work for the government.

I consider myself a considerate and kind person that carries good values. I believe that hard work will get you far in life, but I am not a workaholic. A good balance of work and fun are the best way to be!
What I’m doing with my life
I just moved to San Antonio for a new job, but I already know a lot about the city. I don't have many friends here yet but I'm working on it. I have a cool dog and she goes lots of places with me. Her name is Ava and she's very well behaved. I rescued her 5 years ago and she's an Australian Kelpie.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at making conversation and finding fun things to do :-)
The first things people usually notice about me
Not sure but I would have to guess that they notice my glasses and maybe one of my band tshirts that I have on.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: Grimes, Purity Ring, CHVRCHES, Phantogram, The Presets, Yacht, HolyGhost!, Crystal Castles, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Hot Chip, Wild Nothing, Bat for Lashes, HAERTS, Blonde Redhead, Foster the People, Houses, Dancinatra, Starfucker, Austra, School of Seven Bells, Kleerup, Grizzly Bear, Digitalism, The Knife, Ladytron, Bauuer (yes the guy who produced the Harlem Shake song), Black Lips, Toro y Moi, Tame Impala, Lykke Li

Movies: mostly I like funny movies, thrillers, or mysteries, and sometimes horror flicks with a plot of some kind. A few of my picks are: Big Trouble in Little China, Sixteen Candles, Blade Runner, Drive, Better Off Dead, Aliens, Predator, House of 1000 Corpses, Skeleton Key, Serpent and the Rainbow, and directors like Quintin Tarantino, Martin Scorscese, Ridley Scott, and John Hughes to name a few.

TV: I like Burn Notice becasue it's spy / black ops related which intrigues me, and Supernatural because it's based on mysteries with demons and ghosts which is fun. Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre Foods can be interesting if you can handle it. War documentaries are also something else I enjoy because I'm into warfare history and really just history in general.

Food: I like tons of ethnic food but some of my favorites are Asian like Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, and Indian food. Pizza is also one of my favorites. Really there's not much I don't like.
Six things I could never do without
Weird question but I would say that a good job and a nice place to live are on the top of the list, then I would have to say good food (and I'm a fairly decent cook), and good friends and family. A good car to drive is on the list somewhere. I have a 2 year old Fiat 500 that I love.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Science, news, politics, and what to eat next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hopefully listening to one of my favorite bands at Mohawk or some other cool place, or enjoying the company of friends and family at a restaurant or bar
