My self-summary
I am passionate about technology: computer software, web applications, software development, gadgets, automation.

I love to run and I am into marathons. I love activities in the outdoors such as hiking and very intrigued with hashing, having a nice cold beer after an hour plus of hiking and running is quite an awesome feeling.

I am also keen on learning more about photography. I have a basic Nikon DSLR and a couple of lenses. Because I want to excite my right brain, I am generally interested in arts, music and film.

I grew up in Kuala Lumpur and also spent some time in Beijing a few years back. I would love to spend more time in other cities around the world.
What I’m doing with my life
1. Building my startup while having some fun along the way.
2. I have a bit more time now, so I would like to travel a bit more
3. Train for my next run
I’m really good at
Making the computer do stuff... I am generally the default IT helpdesk for friends and family... :p
The first things people usually notice about me
That I am tanned
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I haven't been much of a reader when younger. But here are some books I've read recently: The Omnivore's Dilemma, Born to Run, A Random Walk Down Wall Street, A Doctor in the House: Memoirs of Tun Dr. Mahathir, 1Q84

I love watching foreign films, art films, anime (Cowboy Beebop, Ghost in the Shell, Miyazaki's stuff, Evangelion), Malaysian films (Talentime, Sepet) and Chinese films (山楂树之恋 - Under the Hawthorn Tree, 80后 - Heaven Eternal, Earth Everlasting, 一个陌生女人的来信 - Letter from an Unknown Woman, 阳光灿烂的日子 - In the Heat of the Sun) especially those set in the Cultural Revolution. I am fine with stuff coming out of Hollywood but they are definitely not the only stuff worth watching.

Korean movies are pretty awesome, some recent gems: Mother (Madeo) and Lady Vengeance. A classic would be Memories of Murder. A pretty quirky movie (without dialogue) would be 3-Iron.

Some TV shows: Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Suits, Spartacus, Smallville, X-files (oh ain't that old).

Music that inspire me: Rock, Post Rock, Jazz/Blues, Asian-pop (for keeping to my roots :p), soundtrack for Japanese movies/anime.

Food: Japanese/Korean food, meaty stuff, Tex/Mex...
And am still looking for a good italian pasta and definitely don't mind some good salmon sashimi and butter fish. Oh yea, and Ox tongue, teppanyaki style, is quite good.

I also miss quite a bit of food from China, while I was in Beijing, like the large selection of different hotpots, Mala Xiangguo, Mala Tang, Xinjiang food and Sichuanese food.
Six things I could never do without
(in no particular order)

* The Interwebs
* A computer with a good keyboard
* Comfortable clothes
* Lots of water and some good food
* Running
* Some peace and quiet or a good dreamy sleep

My next adventure and work
On a typical Friday night I am
Could be doing anything from having dinner with friends, catching a movie, chilling out at home, or whatever my heart feels like at that moment.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I think I am getting more mellow and a bit of a romantic
