My self-summary
Aspiring steel magnate, world-class balloon racer, healer of furry animals, and self-styled man of the people...or maybe not. It's probably closer to science-loving book nerd, lover of all things pasta, and perpetual daydreamer. But, hey, you do what you love. If you'd like to know more, you can see what I've written below. Fair warning: I tend to be a bit verbose. Feel free to message me if you'd like to start a conversation!
What I’m doing with my life
What I'm doing with my life is to try and enjoy as much as I can in the time that I have. There is so much knowledge and fun the world has to absorb. Specifically, I currently teach chemistry, but that's just a job (which I like). I also enjoy baking and, one day, want to start brewing beer at home. I try to keep things different and find new things to do.
I’m really good at
I greatly enjoy going out and playing trivia. I frequently hit up Patton Alley's trivia night and have a lot of fun doing it. To summarize, I am a fountain of useless knowledge and have a bit of tendency to drop really weird facts into daily conversation.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I'm currently reading a book on the Black Plague which is really interesting. I also have Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency from the library and ready.
Movies/Shows: I don't watch much, but I'm a big fan of Scrubs and How I Met Your Mother. I have also delved into Dexter. Darkly comedic and wonderful.
Music: I have eclectic tastes. My favorite bands are probably Muse and Bad Religion (I know, couldn't get more similar...)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend my time thinking about a lot of things. Of course, there are serious things like how I can teach a lesson in a different way or contemplating life and its mysteries. But, I also let my mind wander to things like time travel, superpowers, and fighting off zombie hordes. I like to keep things interesting.
On a typical Friday night I am
You can find me out at a quiet bar with a nice beer (Mirror Pond Ale) or glass of wine. I may be out with my brother or just out to enjoy a book and an evening out. I keep my life very simple.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I recently discovered that I may sleepwalk. I woke up with a scratch on my forehead that wasn't there the night before. I think the answer is clear. I'm a sleepwalking vigilante crime-fighter. You're welcome, Earth.
You should message me if
Are you interested in having a fun conversation about anything from superpowers to favorite type of dessert? Then drop a line to someone who still actually uses drop a line in conversation.
