Aside from purple, I like the usual array of nerdy things: comics, movies, big-budget TV shows probably made by HBO, manga, anime, etc., etc. And also WWII history.
Contrary to (completely unfounded) nerdy stereotypes, I do like going outside and being generally healthy.
I draw and I write, and I both lament and love the fact I'd struggle to do anything else with my life.
Other than travelling, that is. There's nowhere in the world I wouldn't like to see at least once.
A Song of Ice and Fire, Harry Potter, Good Omens, His Dark Materials, Tintin, 1001 Movies to see before you die, An Item from the Late News, everything by Joanne Harris, Deustche Soldaten (and a host of other books containing pictures of planes and panzers), and Amazing Facts about Australian Birds by Steve Parish.
Das Boot, Downfall, The Apartment, The Great Race, Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, A Fish Called Wanda, The Full Monty, In the Mood for Love, Brokeback Mountain, Alien, Toy Story, Inglourious Basterds, Wedding Crashers, Withnail and I, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, The Princess and the Cobbler, Edward Scissorhands, Quills, and many, many more.
Sherlock, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Deadwood, Firefly, Band of Brothers, Monty Python’s Flying Circus, The Young Ones, Blackadder, Black Books, and nearly every animated TV show that's trending or has trended in the past twenty years.
Supertramp, Gorillaz, the Rolling Stones, Nick Cave, David Bowie, Rammstein, Lou Reed, Leonard Cohen, Creedence, Jim Croce, followed by an eclectic blend of pretty terrible things like k-pop and Lady Gaga.
Everything. Italian, Japanese, Korean and Malaysian all get special mentions.
PSA: sexist and/or degrading messages will just get deleted. Sorry I'm not sorry. At all.
Also please stop telling me your opinions on my face and/or the rest of me. I have now officially read them all. Every single adjective you think is flattering. Stop.
