I guess I pride myself in using my head. I'm very analytical; I'm ex-Mormon. I love science and reason. The true tools of progress. Progress seems like a good thing- rights, technology, knowledge.
I also have hobbies, at least I think that's what they are. I like hiking, practicing taekwondo, running, reading endless tabs on Wikipedia, disc golf; sometimes I volunteer for nonprofits, and it's probably not as altruistic as it sounds.
Most importantly to me, but probably directly applicable to the reader; is raising my kids. The only reason I mention it is that it makes my schedule pretty rigid. I'm not flaky, I simply have limited availability.
