I relish good company, Cabernet from Stellenbosch and a squash game that makes me sweat. But there's nothing I love better than spending quality time with one compatible partner.
Prefer people who don't take material and money concerns too seriously. There are better things to be serious about.
I could tell you my version of who I am and what I’m like, but in the end none of that matters much, really. It boils down to that mysterious connection between two people. Shared interests and values are important, but you need that intangible “magic” to wrap around them.
I have learnt that love is simple but people are complex, so try not to overly intellectualise the concept of a relationship...that what is said, is oblique to what is felt. Physical chemistry is an important and necessary part of any relationship, but what elevates everything to another level is when emotional and intellectual attraction are added to the mix. When the heart, the brain and the senses are firing in unison, you truly are drinking from the trough of love.
I'm looking for a man who cares about his emotional and physical well being. I find an intuitive and creative mind very sexy. A man who is not afraid to accept and express love; who's happy, compassionate, worldly and inquisitive. A wonderful father to your children ( if you have any) and if not, an understanding that I have a young son whom I adore and am raising. And if you love Fox News, you won't pass muster. City men take note, I hang my hat on the UES when sans my son.
So that's just a little about me, but write to me and I will come up with lots more. Thanks for reading and good luck to you.
Prefer foreign films but enjoy the classics and mainstream if well made. Love good theatre, some modern opera.
Beethoven to Vanella Ornoni to Hip Hop, my son's favourite genre. Have a plebeian food palate (don't know why since my mum loved sheep's brain and tongue). The list goes on...
My mean getaway car - my dad was a racing car driver
My Brussels Griffon - he's a non-mean hound
Grey Matter - inside and out
Being in love
My squash racquet - it's really mean
Apparently - the word mean
and if you get the chance to do it,
Do it because you may never
have the chance to do it again.
