My self-summary
Me? I'm well traveled, I work out and eat healthy. I like to read, watch movies, see plays and musicals and go for walks. I drink socially, and love sushi, Indian and Vietnamese food. I used to be a cruise director up until very recently. I just quit in order to adjust to the real world. And then the Electoral College elected Trump, so I'm not quite sure what is "real" nowadays! Support for Trump is a deal-breaker, btw.
What I’m doing with my life
As of January of 2017, I am in-between jobs. I start my new job in April, so I have a few months FREEELEEEE!!! I work out, go to plays and musicals, visit friends, travel, and adjust to life off cruise ships. I stay active! 5k's, softball, and a LOT of walking.
I’m really good at
Broadway musicals, budgeting and finance, doing math in my head. Napping, singing, organizing, and making peanut butter toast. I'm not much of a cook. But if you are, that's GREAT! It would be a yin/yang thing. You cook, I'll eat. :-)
The first things people usually notice about me
I have a great big smile! I am high-energy, sporty, and sexy. I am not the shy, quiet type. Think more Julia Roberts and less Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Food: EVERYTHING!! I love to try new things. I don't like beets, olives, coffee, and not too crazy about eggplant, but everything else is fair game. Faves include Vietnamese Pho, Sushi - really, anything Asian. Mexican, Italian, Turkish, Greek, Middle Eastern, ANY kind of Pizza, junk food, health food - get it? Movies: Landmark Century Cinema is a fave, but I'm also a sap for movies like Remember the Titans, Shawshank, and any musical. TV? I don't watch a lot of TV because I'm not around enough to get hooked on anything. I watch Jeopardy when I am home - I guess that is my "favorite show." I'm a news junkie. I just finished "Night" by Ellie Wiesel, and am currently reading an economics book by Henry Hazlitt. Not for fun, but I think I should know this stuff.
Six things I could never do without
I started a list. It included my iPhone, my condo, etc... but is there ANYTHING you really couldn't do without? In the literal meaning, no, there is not. As long as I have my family and my health, that's all that matters.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life. My next adventure. Food.
On a typical Friday night I am
You can find me in a theater, or perhaps watching a movie at home. I prefer to go out on weekdays, when you don't have to fight the crowds. Also, I always make a trip to NYC a couple times a year to see this season's shows.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Ok, I could down a box of Fruity Pebbles in no time flat. I don't eat cereal much anymore, but when I did, I loved Fruity Pebbles!
You should message me if
You are smart, funny, my height or taller (I'm 5'10 and I love to wear heels) and are open to new things. I am looking for someone like me, with enough differences to make an interesting relationship, one where people learn from one another and grow together in life. Are you extremely smart? I will melt.

Do you like to travel? Are you a fan of The West Wing? Aaron Sorkin? Do you like the theater? Does it irk you when people send you an email using text-speak? Do you like sushi with red wine? Are you a lover of REALLY good pizza and do you know where to get the best hamburger in Chicago? And lastly, do you believe that people are inherently good, and that the world is a good place? Answer yes to a few of those, and drop me a line.
