My self-summary
Affable, loquacious, and logically scatterbrained. I'm a professional cellist (read: flexible schedule), and I moonlight as a house DJ. I like inappropriate jokes and thoughtful conversations. I have two big fluffy cats and a bunch of plants in my studio. I like to binge on pizza, but I also am trying to eat better, and I've discovered that quinoa is fucking awesome.
What I’m doing with my life
I finished school, and have spent the last year garnering cello students, getting DJ work, and (FINALLY) won a position with a local orchestra, rather than just being on their sub lists. I teach from home, but I also get out a lot to exotic locations for weddings, concerts, and stuff like that. Also trying not to be buried beneath my clean laundry pile.
I’m really good at
Cat whispering.
The first things people usually notice about me
"This is my exact inner structure, done in a tee shirt. Exactly medically accurate. See?"
-Nigel Tufnel
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Any movie. Doctor Who and Buffy can come, too. Closet Trekkie. I have broad taste.

Currently working on a short stack of books having to do with string quartet performance techniques, musical phrasing, and Calvin & Hobbes.

Music... really, anything. Honestly. Tical by Method Man is good, as is Biggie's Ready To Die. Liking mid-20th century classical works lately, by the likes of Schoenberg, Berg, Webern, Bartok, and Prokofiev. I listen to podcasts of my favorite DJs, these days mostly in the UK. I haven't been too excited about any rock groups in the last 6 or 7 years. Too much music out there! It kills me.
The six things I could never do without
1. my kitties
2. hot breakfast
3. constant music
4. i've got five on it
5. small tragedies
6. sunglasses
I spend a lot of time thinking about
food, boobies and kitties.
On a typical Friday night I am
Likely at a gig or rehearsal. After that, anything goes.
You should message me if
You think partying and spelling are not mutually exclusive.
