My self-summary
I have sought out OkCupid's help in finding an easy going yet active, professional and fun woman who is actually looking for a relationship. I've found that single women aare hard to come by in my age group and I've had a very hard time meeting someone. I may come across as carefree and relaxed but i have a lot of energy, a great career and I make sure to keep a positive attitude. I live alone and have my own car, which I hear women tend to find attractive, haha. I can go from lounging around the house for awhile and then over to the beach and have a beer to going to the St. Pete morning market, heading over to a nature preserve for a little kayak trip or walk and then head out to a nice dinner at a moment's notice. That's my niece in my picture. She is very special to me, even though I don't get to see her much since she lives in NY with the rest of my family. She amazes me everyday and I find it fascinating to watch kids grow and learn and I'm going to be an uncle again in January. Honestly though, and all the thanks goes out to her, I know entirely too much about Daniel Tiger and Puffin Rock for a bachelor, HAHA.
I like cute, fun, flirty and positive with a hint of sarcasm and mischief. Please know how to keep a conversation going and answer with more than one word answers. I don't really do well with shy or quiet people unless you are only shy at first. I am completely the opposite, and quiet or shy people most likely will want to strangle me by the end of the night. I'm educated and like to dig deep into topics and analyze interesting subjects. I'm very science, electronics and technology oriented and am always learning. I'm into cars and import tuners and love driving around and checking out houses and neighborhoods and I'm always down to finding new places to explore. I'm a big movie lover, I cook, I enjoy household handyman and DIY repairs and I'm a huge nature fan. I think the best first date is adventure eating and introducing people to new foods and cultures. I'm not much of a hamburger and mac and cheese kind of guy. Give me an awesome Panang curry, chicken korma, Pho or a huge plate of fresh fish and seafood and you've found the way to my heart, lol.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a realtor, I manage a few vacation properties and I am involved in a few handyman chores for past clients. I believe in taking everyday one day at a time, setting and achieving goals and building my future.
I’m really good at
Knowing the difference between they're, there and their! I enjoy keeping up on useless facts and teaching people about things and topics that they aren't familiar with. I'm also a former restaurant owner and chef. I enjoy cooking more than baking but I do bake now and again.
The first things people usually notice about me
My outgoing personality and my very unique sense of humor.

Food: I went to the Culinary Institute of America and also have my Bachelors degree in business with a minor in restaurant management so I know food pretty well. I prefer to eat food from other cultures i.e. Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Greek etc. etc. I also like comfort foods and am a big fan of ice cream...
The six things I could never do without
My two cats, my car, the internet, knowledge, my family and a comfortable bed.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I would like to be married and start a family within five years. What the universe has in store for me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends, checking out a local event or just relaxing at home watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am really bad at first dates as they tend to be way to similar to interviews and I get nervous. I have no idea how to do this internet dating thing.
You should message me if
If you are artsy, educated, affectionate and very close to your family. I'd prefer you to be able to hold a conversation and answer with more than one word. I'm not against dating a single mom but I'd prefer you only have one child that is a little older.
