I really love board games. Not child board games like monopoly or life, but strategic board games like settlers of catan and cards against humanity. Don't worry, I'm willing to share. There's just something about losing by two points because I made a fatal mistake at turn 7...Do you want to play again?
I've recently got back into running and am considering picking up weight lifting (hah!). Thoughts? Maybe I'll turn into a bro. That would be interesting.
I'll just say this:
If you like Settlers of Catan, we'll probably be friends, even though I don't particularly care for it.
º Nuance (I love it so much! :P)
º Endorphins (e.g. exercise in the great outdoors)
º Eating for sustenance when I'm hungry and eating for pleasure on occasion.
º Discussing a topic that someone else is really passionate about. (Oh, you really like to dress as a pirate go out in the dessert and yell at the moon in the daytime, but only during an eclipse? Tell me more)
º Winning and Losing at board games. I can unleash my competitive side without playing for keeps and it's a reason for all my friends to come say hi in person.
º Watching/reading as the antagonist becomes a three-dimensional character or watching a story without an antagonist.
The strategy behind professional sports. In football, the safety position is mostly about correctly divining whether the offense is going to run or throw and acting accordingly. Now you've learned a useless fact!
