My self-summary
Grew up and went to college in Connecticut where I played nationally ranked tennis for two years. Decided to move to DC for an amazing job and now back to the North East! :)

I've owned and run a consulting business for the last 3 years, which has me traveling from Falmouth Hospital to Tuft Medical, and I'm currently working on finishing my masters in finance!
What I’m doing with my life
I was just convinced to run my 5th Marathon in Vegas. So right now, I'm training and trying to run 30+miles a week.

I'm also working on a personal project, coding and developing healthcare software using C++ and HL7. It was a hobby at first, now it's got a patent pending!

I cook a good amount and sell guacamole to retailers and friends during the summer months and I'm still trying to beat college kids at tennis; weekday leagues.
I’m really good at
I can hold my own at tennis and I've been told I'm really good at being me. I've only failed once at making a BonFire, which lighter fluid fixed... I dabble with photography of the city and have sold two prints, with some Photoshop help... Computers are my thing too, updating and building network configurations. I've never had an issue with a computer I couldn't resolve, thanks google...
The first things people usually notice about me
A lot of people have recently been telling me I have really long eyelashes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Silicon Valley is amazing right now and Game of Thrones is pretty good too. Been reading a lot of medical journals and listening to TED talks while traveling for work. The Things Our Fathers Saw, Zero to One, Omnivore's Dilemma, Lolita and When Breath Becomes Air are some of my best, most recently read books. I'm pretty open to any type of music, just has to fit the mood :)
Six things I could never do without
Running shoes
Open Source Technology
My friends & family
My tennis racquet
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The best choices and how to seize every opportunity to better my self and others around me. I really believe that a positive attitude and personality is a major part in being happy and creating happiness. I also try to think of small everyday changes to make other people happy! :)
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm pretty mixed on this. Depending on the week, it's normally relaxing with friends and cooking or your typical meet for dinner and laughs. But.. Who doesn't like to just relax at home sometimes too?!
You should message me if
You're looking for someone driven in their career, maybe you're a little geeky too or think we might get along.
