My self-summary
Richard Feynman, but less smart. Batman, but less serious.
What I’m doing with my life
I was a nuclear mechanic on the USSes Minneapolis St. Paul and Topeka, then a biochemistry major at NYU. I am now returning to Florida to major in Mathematics at USF. I plan to become a math teacher / mathematician / author, and settle down with someone special, our brood of geniuses, and Io, the best kitty-cat in the world.
I'm going to be somewhat busy making all of this happen, so I'd love if we were interested in each others' goings on.
I’m really good at
-dancing, if it's nothing more complicated than salsa
-rock n' roll band karaoke at Arlene's Grocery
-explaining things I understand
-avoiding explaining things I don't understand
-writing?
-jokes??
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm fun. And attractive.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Absalom! Absalom!, Brave New World, Dune, Machine Man, Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World

Groundhog Day, Wes Anderson's flicks, probably other movies with Bill Murray. Definitely anything with Clint Eastwood. El Topo is really good. I used to watch lots of arty films, but I've kind of gotten out of it. Maybe we can get back into it together.

Breaking Bad, House, Dexter, Saturday Night Live, Seinfeld

Beck, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, CCR, Decemberists, Smashing Pumpkins, U2 (before How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb), Pink Floyd, Prince Rama of Ayodhya, Hurricanes of Love, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bob (and Jakob) Dylan, Gladiators, Weezer, Starfucker, random music I've never heard before or will probably never hear again

Indian, Thai, and Ethiopian. Healthy Stuff. Also: Beer and Pizza.
The six things I could never do without
Friends, books, music, laughter, coffee, and some kind of self expression... it varies.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Math, science, philosophy, art, history... anything they teach in school. Sometimes I just pay attention to what I'm doing, and then congratulate myself for how zen I'm being.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hopefully studying, but realistically dancing to loud music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I dressed up as David Bowie once for Halloween. I had a skin tight gold space-catsuit, white gloves, white go-go boots, red hair, and the signature face-lightning bolt.
You should message me if
You want to go dancing, or make out, or both.
