I'm a minimalist and usually rather non-consumerist. I don't buy lots of new stuff and I rarely throw things away unless they are completely useless.
I try hard to keep my mind sharp. I work hard at being creative whether that's by writing or through cooking. I also put an effort into maintaining my body via eating right, running and going to the gym.
Submitting work to publishers
Not eating animals or their products
Trusting people without being completely naive
Staring off into space
Never ever losing my glasses or keys
Keeping my carbon footprint minuscule
Cooking for anybody with food allergies or dietary restrictions -I made a living at this for about 10 years. I can do gluten-free, raw, macrobiotic, low-whatever, and obviously vegan.
Not letting the little stuff get to me.
Or maybe what people notice about me is the book that I'm reading. I don't know about you but sometimes if I see someone with a book I'm more interested in the title of the book than the holder of the book.
A short list of my favorite writers would be:
(In general, I like to read Middle Eastern poetry. It's my big obsession but I do try to keep up with contemporary poetry from all over the globe. I really do my best to read the writing of writers who are actually still writing.)
Some bands/musicians I like are:
Hank Williams Sr.
Lou Reed/Velvet Underground
Old Bruce Springsteen
The Pernice Brothers
And electronic-based music in general. Industrial, chillwave, indie-electro, sythpop, etc etc.
I listen to NPR way too much and I try to catch Coast to Coast AM but usually ending falling asleep half way through it.
And, I'm a big fan of stand-up -Jim Gaffigan, John Oliver, Patton Oswalt and Louis C. K. are some of my favorites.
As for movies, I tend to like indie films but honestly I will give almost any comic-book/graphic novel movie a chance as well as most comedies. Ed Wood is my favorite movie ever hands down.
And anything by Jim Jarmusch, Almodovar or Wes Anderson. Almost anything by Tim Burton or Aronofsky. I'm also really starting to enjoy Woody Allen.
For food, if it's vegan, I'll usually give it a shot. I try to be as easy as possible when I go out. But, I tend to prefer going to Asian or Middle Eastern restaurants -there are more choices for me.
Finally, I'm a big fan of Scotch and dry Spanish wines while at the same time I could probably pass a blind taste test of all the cheap beers -Utica Club, PBR, Genny, Rheingold etc.
Conversation. Talk. The company of friends.
Time. I could always use a bit more of it.
Whether or not there is spinach, parsley, some other greenery or poppy seeds in my teeth.
The next book I'm working on/going to publish.
What I'm going to eat next. I love food and I eat way more than anyone would suspect.
Language/Linguistics - I love syntax and morphology and I think a lot about the flexibility of sentence structuring and phrasal constituents.

Synchronicity, happenstance, coincidence and whether or not I left my coffeemaker on.
Actually, I guess Wednesday night is when I like to go out. Then I can usually be found at a few of my favorite bars reading a book if I can't find some interesting conversation to complement the beer.
If you want to get a cup of coffee/tea or grab a drink somewhere and talk about books, movies, philosophy or nonsense.
If you are conscientious and eco-friendly.
If you are a geek, nerd, artist, writer, freak, queer or just awesome.
If you would like to collaborate on a poetic/literary/multimedia endeavor.
