My self-summary
Slow living and I truly mean it. Funemployment includes daily cooking, exercising, meditation and a bit of boozing. Some art projects, music, friends, events and Netflix exist in that realm. Feeling like a retired activist searching for whatever's next.

I get frustrated with online dating and how we try to portray ourselves. Pictures at the best parties, the greatest places we've ever been... all adventure, all fun, all the time.

No. Nu uh. I have shitty days sometimes. I will close the blinds and eat terrible and not peal away from a whole season of a silly show on my laptop. Sometimes I won't want to make plans. Sometimes I don't know what to say in a stressful or tough situation. Sometimes I'm afraid.

I want to know people that are honest with these parts of themselves - that can talk about the good they've done but also how they may have hurt other people. Failed. Felt hopeless. If you are happy and sunny 24/7 I am terrified for you and of you and truthfully, I don't believe you.
What I’m doing with my life
Internet, just stop. You're stressing us all out.
I’m really good at
Rolling with the punches. Going out. I can work a lot of scenes. I can also cook and love to share.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Octavia E Butler, Jonathan Lethem, Kazuo Ishiguro, JM Coetzee, Charles Bukowski (for nostalgia's sake), Jonathan Safran Foer, Tim Wise - lately almost entirely Buddhist writing in the Shambhala tradition

Game of Thrones, True Detective, Hannibal, Freaks and Geeks, My So-Called Life, Wonder Years, Sherlock

Random sampling: Drive, Minority Report, Ratatouille, LOTR, Wayne's World, Let the right one in, Terminator 2, Harry Potter. I've seen way, way too many movies. Why aren't there any good horror movies anymore?

Lately: Random spotify. Pavarotti has been singing to my soul more than usual. 90's one hit wonders.

Always: NUFAN, Tom Waits, (old) Green Day, Pedro the Lion/David Bazan, Elliot Smith, Elvis, NOFX, The Ataris, Sondre Lerche

Food - everything/anything vegan. Except eggplant.
Six things I could never do without
nickelback, parking tickets, meth, lower back pain, fracking

but not humor
On a typical Friday night I am
Oh hush okc, leave me be. A boy's gotta have some mystery geez.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Paul has always been my favorite Beatle
You should message me if
