My self-summary
I'm all over the map, both literally and metaphorically. I travel a lot in the summer and like to have adventures in new places. I've lived in Houston for the past two years, but my California soul was too strong, so I've returned to Riverside.
I like to dabble in everything, so I tend to be difficult to classify. Some people think I'm a nerd, others think I'm a fitness/sports guru. Sometimes I can be very serious and intellectual, but most of the time I'm lighthearted and carefree. I enjoy a night out on the town as much as I enjoy a night in watching a movie.
So yeah, I'm just looking to continue the adventure that is my life in Riverside, and maybe find an agreeable/cool person to enjoy good times with!
What I’m doing with my life
I've been a secondary school special education teacher for the past four years. Right now I'm looking at possibly changing career paths and getting a Doctorate of Physical Therapy; as education is kind of a mess these days. I go on adventures in the summer (I am known for going on ridiculous road trips, either motorcycle or car), and during the school year I enjoy playing golf, baseball/softball, and soccer in my free time. I'm getting back into the swing of being an avid gym-goer, but I need a spotter.
I’m really good at
A lot of things. And if I'm not good at something and I want to be... practice makes perfect. Ask me if I'm good at something specific if you're interested.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm humorous.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite book would be either Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert Pirsig, or On the Road by Jack Kerouac.

I love How I Met Your Mother, Top Gear (soon to be The Grand Tour), Tyrant, Family Guy, American Dad, The League, Suits, and Doctor Who. I also love just about any BBC documentary series.

I listen to a bit of everything, though lately I've taken a shining to classical music.

My favorite games include World of Warcraft, Minecraft, No Man's Sky, Destiny, MLB The Show, the Final Fantasy series, GTA, Elder Scrolls, Borderlands series, and FIFA.

I enjoy most foods, with the exception of cephalopods. Do not want.
The six things I could never do without
Having lived out of state for the past couple years has really given me perspective on this:
Friends
Car
Phone
Pets
A sense of adventure
Delicious food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Words. They're fascinating. What would we do without them?
I also spend a lot of time thinking about sports. They entertain me and keep me fit.
Aside from those two, I also often ponder some of the mysteries of life and the universe.
On a typical Friday night I am
Typically unwinding from a grueling workweek by vegging out and watching a movie or playing video games with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a fan of a good musical.
You should message me if
You enjoy video games as much as going out and getting dirty playing sports. If you can keep up with me on the field and in FIFA we'll be best friends!
You're a SoCal sports fan (or a sports fan in general that can take a friendly rivalry complete with trash-talking).
You travel a lot and can tell me awesome places to visit.
