My self-summary
I used to read a lot. I used to be way smarter too. And care about issues. And I was really fun too. I was pretty great. You missed it.

I'm probably a better writer now, though.

I also used to pride myself in the rugged ability to get around by bike and public transportation, but now I have a car that I kinda love, The Scionallite of Love. It's a stick-shift, so it's kinda like I'm still roughing it.

I cook a lot. I just learned how to make Kim-chee, before that it was homemade sausage and before that, bread. And I have a fairly diverse repertoire of Italian, Thai, Mexican and breakfast dishes that make the rotation. I have a garden that grows from compost made by my little worm friends. There's several hundred of them and I have names for all of them.

I have Resting Nice Face
What I’m doing with my life
I'm officially a TV comedy writer. It took me a lot of lean years to finally be able to say that. I was raised by TV and now I tell it what to do. I also write and direct sketch comedy at IO West and UCB and wherever else I can. I co-host a science podcast. I host a trivia comedy show. Sometimes I stand up. I shoot videos and make animations and build puppets and write songs and build inventions and get lost in art projects for hours, sometimes while a little bit high.
I’m really good at
I can do all of the following things (which is not the same as being good at them.) Fly an airplane. Drive a motorcycle. Play a guitar. Play keyboards. Play my drum set. Work a sound board. Run a video switcher. Skydive. Scuba dive. Hang glide.

Most of these things I haven't done in a while; I just wanted you to know that if a San Andreas situation breaks out I could be like a useful comedic sidekick character to a charismatic The Rock-type character.
The first things people usually notice about me
People like to touch my hair.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where are all these walls with wings on them?
On a typical Friday night I am
Since not having a typical Friday night is by far the most typical way to answer this question, I try to do the exact same thing every Friday night, timed down to the minute, in order to maximize my iconoclasty.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am a deposed Nigerian prince.
You should message me if
Weird but nice? Brilliant yet uncynical? Funny with glasses?

Are you hilarious and want to start a podcast?

I kinda believe in the algorithm, so I trust that if you're higher than a 70% you're probably at least reasonably liberal & progressive & not too into some crazy weird cult, such as any religion that currently exists.

I don't cut and paste. If I write you it's because I read what you wrote and I think we would be at least be good friends if we hung out, with the palpable possibility of long-term-ship. If I didn't write you, maybe I couldn't think of something interesting to say, you can always give me a suggestion.
