My self-summary
Checking in from an airport near (and not so near) you. When I'm not being frisked by airport security I have recently moved back to Taipei. It's been interesting so far...

Since Buzzfeed made listicles all the rage, here are just a few things that I enjoy:

* Reading: Everything from the FT to cooking blogs, especially since I have a lot of time to kill while sitting in metal tubes.

* Films/TV: I live this Dave Grohl's quote, "I don’t believe in guilty pleasures. If you like something, like it." And I freely admit that I enjoy romantic comedies like "Must Love Dogs" (or really, any John Cusack movie). And there isn't much I love more than a good BBC nature documentary.

* Good food with good company. It is the people that matters more than the location. It could be as simple as a potluck dinner with friends but as long as it is with people whose company I enjoy, it beats dinner at the finest restaurant.

* Work. Perhaps a bit too much if I were honest.

* Wine "tasting" (really, just wine drinking ;).

* INTJ (if you put stock in Myers-Briggs).

I am introspective, self-critical, and witty.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm very good at stealing kids' lunch money and their lollipop. Rest assured I'm only giving it to other less well off children though.

The thing that keeps the lights on is my job as a management consultant.
I’m really good at
Cooking, reading, and giving you my opinion.
The first things people usually notice about me
My loud voice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
(A) Some of my favourite books include Great Expectations, Princess Bride, and Lord of the Rings; and while I've seen all of them on the screens the books are still vastly superior.

(B) I watch a lot of documentaries and an overwhelming fondness for all things BBC. From Dr. Who to the latest Attenborough documentary. I also delight in sitcoms like Modern Family and procedurals like Castle.

(C) I've learned to appreciate music in all its form (not to mention I am hopeless at keeping up with what's going on currently) and often retreat back to favourites like Radiohead, OMD, Avett Brothers, Regina Spektor, and Josh Radin.

(D) Chinese food, natch. Sushi is also great. My recent culinary adventures have centered around Central and South American food, like a good Peruvian saltado. And fries. Perfectly golden french fries.
The six things I could never do without
Engaging conversation
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why premium denim is almost always button fly. The zipper was invented over 100 years ago, get with the times people!
On a typical Friday night I am
At the airport coming home from a week spent on the road and heading home to unwind.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am deathly afraid of snakes and rollercoasters.
You should message me if
You want to be entertained by witty non sequiturs.
