My self-summary
Young, driven, kind and outgoing social butterfly who loves new people and will often dive into deep conversations immediately ("Oh, you recruit for a charter school? What do you think about the charter school system as a whole vs. previous public education system initiatives?") Super interested in policy, politics, and making my world run as smoothly as possible. Also interested in silliness and froyo.

Rarely described as "laid back;" rather, intensely curious (even inquisitive). Trying to be intense, proactive, and open in all aspects of life - professional, social, and dating.
What I’m doing with my life
After practicing law for a number of years, switched to health care consulting and couldn't be happier. Lots of travel, lots of new people, and lots of new places. My DC friends keep me grounded in the District, and I'm so happy to come back to them every weekend.
I’m really good at
Pretty outgoing and really like chatting about anything that someone is passionate about (even if I know nothing about the topic) - favorites include architecture and urban planning, technology, and politics (among many things).
The first things people usually notice about me
energy and smile
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Tend to prefer nonfiction over fiction, so currently reading and enjoying books on city planning, politics, etc.

Totally in love with space, and all the places we've yet to discover.

Also, I'll tell you a secret - when I'm in the gym, that's not Britney I'm bobbing along to, but a playlist of all the video game themes I've ever played and some pretty sweet movie soundtracks as well. Don't judge - it gets me pumped up.

Finally, TV shows about politics like The Newsroom and House of Cards (this is DC, duh), as well as documentary news shows like Vice. But basically anything with good writing and high production values is fine by me. :)
The six things I could never do without
- Family and Friends
-Stimulating conversation
-the Internets
-A good bottle of wine and good company to share it with.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Making the cities I live in better places to live and play. TED talks. My favorite video game soundtracks. How long it's going to take to finish this profile. Also, the importance of tailoring in a civilized workplace.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends at the bars, drinking some good beverages, and/or dancing, sometimes simultaneously; or occasionally working or playing Xbox.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Like a nice pair of cuff links equally as much as a nice pair of jeans.
You should message me if
You're open, outgoing, and ready for to explore, adventure, and build something awesome with someone who's looking for the same, whether friendship or something deeper.
