What I’m doing with my life
I'm trying to balance work and home life (right now work is winning).

Recently I've been learning bachata and kizomba, and I've been having a lot of fun doing so. (It's less fun when my toes are being stepped on).

While unable to pretzel myself to any impressive degree, I really enjoy practicing yoga. The first time my friend drug me to a class, I thought the meditation portion was ridiculous. Now I look forward to my sessions and the feeling of relaxation I take away. I would practice at home as well, but I've learned through experience that my cat views yoga poses as a sign of weakness, and will attack without mercy.
I’m really good at
Ballroom dancing and latin dancing; puzzles and logic games; video games; studying for classes that interest me; oversleeping on workdays; singing (or at least I like to think so); procrastinating; and to top it all off, I have a very good sense of direction.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know about the first thing they notice, but the first thing they comment on is usually my eye color.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Wheel of Time Series; The Blind Assassin; Harry Potter; sci-fi/fiction
Movies: The Princess Bride; Lucky Number Slevin; Holiday Inn; Zombieland; The Boondock Saints; Der Krieger und die Kaiserin
TV Shows: Psych; The Office; Frasier; and almost any show involving forensics; Bob's Burgers; Family Guy; Community
Music: I love all kinds of music: Alternative, Rock, Metal, Pop, Reggaeton, Classical, and Gypsy Jazz to name a few. Some of my favorite bands include Avenged Sevenfold, Five FInger Death Punch, and Cheville.
Food: I will eat pretty much anything with avocado, because avocado is amazing!
Six things I could never do without
1. Music, because regardless of whether I'm any good or not, I love to sing and dance!
2. Cheese - self explanatory, I think
3. Netflix
4. My smartphone - I really hate that I'm so dependent on it...
5. Video games
6. Warm socks
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Nonsense. For example: what are Hipsters? Are they real nerds that have been embraced by the mainstream, or are they cool kids that have appropriated nerd culture?
On a typical Friday night I am
After a busy week at work, I want nothing more than to relax. I watch movies, hang out with friends, or read a good book. Lately I've been hard at work trying to rescue Princess Zelda.

Update: Princess Zelda remains in captivity as I attempt to power through the Assassin's Creed games. For a gamer who typically muscles through with button mashing and beserker rage, it's challenging to be "stealthy."
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I will admit nothing; that way you have plausible deniability.
You should message me if
You think we might get along; as friends or otherwise.

You want to know more, or want to tell me something about yourself.

You prefer joking around over deep conversations. I rarely take myself or others seriously.

You have something of more substance to say then, "hey" or a variety of crude suggestions I won't repeat here. For the former, you're not giving me a lot to work with. For the latter....well that's just rude!
