My self-summary
Optimistic and positive while grounded and logical. Patient, genuine, thoughtful and just flippin fantastic. I enjoy a good porter or stout or a finely crafted Papst Blue Ribbon. Whiskey treats me well. Gin and tonics make me smile. I like pool and darts as much as airing out the tent, building fires and the smell of wild sage. Son of a rancher, engineer and wine makers. Brother and uncle. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest.

I've lived in Seattle neighborhoods for a decade, I'd love to explore them with you.
What I’m doing with my life
Riding trains to and from Chicago.
Writing stories, or imagining my computer sailing through the air like a brick. (Typical writer.)
I’m really good at
I'm sure you'll find out given enough time.
The first things people usually notice about me
The hat, if I happen to be wearing it. Seems to draw attention.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Something Wicked This Way Comes (Bradbury is amazing), Catch 22, The Princess Bride, The Griffin and Sabine Trilogy :) Recently finished Born To Run, The Stranger, The Fall, On Writing (Stephen King Memoir, highly recommended if you're writing!)

Pandora: Beats Antique, Bottom of the River (Delta Rae), Lady Gaga, Kiss Me I'm Shitfaced (Dropkick Murphys) , Ani DiFranco, Garbage, Walking On Sunshine, Chris Cornell...many others come to think of it.

Fantasy and sci-fi, Fight Club, The Power of One, How To Train Your Dragon, The Emperor's New Groove, Toy Story (really all Pixar).

Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Arrested Development, Sherlock, House of Cards, Doctor Who, Dr. Horrible? ;)
The six things I could never do without
Morning coffee
Those dearest to me
Affection in all forms
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Things that make me go hmmmmm....

"If you wanna make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make that change."

Selling my novels and myself to a literary agent is very similar to selling myself to you. Tricky. It will come down to right time, right place, right person.
On a typical Friday night I am
If I'm not working then...
Out with friends at happy hour, playing pool, writing, editing, rewriting, deleting, drinking, rewriting and probably checking this site.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I want to make out in a car wash. Brown Bear, let's go.

"Well color me happy, there's a sofa in here for two!"
You should message me if
Curiosity inspires you to do so.

Also, if you happen to know of some good writers groups, contests, seminars or anything that would help plug me into the seattle writers network. Word!
