Come home, I'm so cold
Let me in-a-your window...
Trying to be the best person I can possibly be.
Being a dad to two wonderful kids, (17 & 13), who are with me 50% of the time, and an adult daughter, (25).
Weighing and wrapping up meat, cooking, housekeeping/maintenance, cat sitting, swimming, playing wallyball, remodeling/home improvement side jobs, playing music, gardening, and eating ice cream.
If you're looking for someone to go para-sailing with, in Costa Rica, I'm probably not your man, at least for the time being, as my schedule wouldn't allow it. But a weekend getaway would be a welcome break!
Playin' it by ear.
Seriously, I don't know, I'm a bit humble.
Food -I am a bit of a foodie, love all kinds, except processed. I make a point to avoid chain restaurants and purchasing factory-farmed meat. I grow vegetables and herbs, and can tomatoes - with fresh basil, of course. Places I like to eat - Brasa, Hell's Kitchen (breakfast), Gorkha Palace, Gandi Mahal, Joan's In The Park, The Bulldog NE (brunch), El Taco Riendo, Quang, Pho Tan Phat, to name a few, and there are so many more that I want to try.
Movies - Dead Man, The Shop on Main Street, The Virgin Spring, (Anything by Ingmar Bergman), Raising Arizona, The Princess Bride, Deliverance, Cool Hand Luke, Pan's Labyrinth, Dumb and Dumber, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (Both versions, the trilogy), Planes Trains and Automobiles, Life is Beautiful, The Jerk, The Pianist, The Babadook
TV - Modern Family, Seinfeld, Austin City Limits, Jacques Pepin, Julia Child, Rick Bayless, Martin Yan, America's Test Kitchen, The Walking Dead
Radio - (yes, I still listen to the radio) During the week my kitchen is filled with tunes from Jazz 88.5, and on the weekends NPR/MPR programs - American Routes, A Prairie Home Companion, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, This American Life, Radiolab, The Moth, Car Talk, Bluegrass Saturday Morning
Books - Waging Heavy Peace (Neil Young), Life (Keith Richards), The Replacements - an Oral History, Don Quixote, The Odyssey, Wuthering Heights
Oh, and I like to do the NYT Crossword Puzzles.
C-O-F-F-E-E, with lots of cream!
My kids, when they're not with me.
Music, it's always going through my head.
How I'd really like to find love, and leave this on-line dating behind.
Sometimes I get the menstrual cramps, real hard.
I amuse myself.
I'm a little disappointed that there are many who don't comprehend this question, (the keyword is "willing"). "You'll have to get to know me..." seems to be the popular answer. Why would you pass on the chance to share something amusing, or interesting about yourself?
You're considerate, not narcissistic, nor materialistic, and would actually like to meet a nice, considerate man.
The power of Christ compels you! (Well, maybe not)
You're going to be late.
You just met me, and this is crazy.
You're down to earth, and don't have an overblown sense of entitlement.
Like me, you are looking for someone with whom you share a passionate mutual attraction, combined with a fondness of each others company, with an easy rapport.
