The little things in life have the ability to make me uncontrollably happy.
I'd consider myself a foodie, but not a food snob. I love to try new places and love to cook.
I also love being outdoors as much as possible. - whether it's hitting town lake or grabbing drinks with friends or dinner on one of Austin's many great patios. I like dive bars on the east side just as much as a fancy restaurant.
Movies: Mostly indie films, foreign films and dramas though I do love a good comedy. Too many favorites to name. Here's a little taste: Requiem for a Dream, Princess Bride, Amelie, Reservoir Dogs, True Romance, The Godfather I & II, Immortal Beloved, Trainspotting, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Che, Bread and Tulips, Closet Land, La Dolce Vida, Cinema Pardiso, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Brasco, 500 Days of Summer, The Shining, Dogs in Space, Lords of Dogtown, Being John Malkevich, Red, White, Blue, J'taime Paris, ...and the list goes on and on.
Books: mostly non-fiction, travel essays, inspirational, biographies, etc. or whatever I'm in the mood for.
Food: Sky's the limit. I love to cook and try new foods. I like everything from Thai, Italian, Indian, Vegan and Vegetarian to Cal-fusion, Japanese, French, Greek, to BBQ Actually, I don't think I've met a type of cuisine that I don't like. I was vegan for two years but am back to more of a flexitarian lifestyle with food.
