My ideal partner is equally in love with his life, challenges me because he's constantly challenging himself, is creative, has some kind of spiritual practice, adventurous, funny, probably somewhat nerdy/quirky. I'm interested in someone who is smart, strives for life balance, compassionate, adventurous, funny, and finds it easy to have a good time no matter what environment they are in.
I value maturity, authenticity/honesty, mutual respect, and clear communication in relationships.
I'm running my own business (film/video production) and am passionate about what I do. I make documentaries, experimental films, and music videos. The 9-5 lifestyle is not for me (and never has been). I've always been on the entrepreneur path and love it.
I am both a student of Buddhist meditation and a teacher. I'm primarily interested in exploring the inner landscape through meditation- but, I have explored many other energy healing modalities.
Not a burner. I respect burning man but can't foresee ever being a burner.

I'm vegetarian so Indian, Thai, and Mexican are my favorite cuisines.
I recently discovered Yerba Mate and am so hooked.
how to help as many people as possible.
why is there traffic everywhere in the Bay Area at all times? Does anyone work 9-5 anymore?
I dislike wearing socks to bed (no matter how cold the weather)
I dislike standing close to the edge of a Bart/Muni platform. I am cursed by formerly living in NYC and hearing those horror stories of people being pushed onto the tracks by some psycho. What weird about this is that in just about every other aspect of my life I enjoy "living on the edge". :-)
I tend to be attracted to guys who either have (or want to get) tattoos. While I have none right now, I plan to get some in the future. And, no, I'm not referring to a butterfly or a rose.
I dislike mustaches (and most facial hair in general). Yeah, I know that excludes me from being a hipster and I'm totally cool with that.
You made it to the end of this profile (and read all of it)

Umm, you feel like online dating is a bit too much pressure. You like live music and want to make a new friend...let's go.
p.s. Please don't msg me with a one-liner like, "how is your week going?" or "you have a nice smile".
