My self-summary
I'm an artist at heart but I try to be a good guy and its more rewarding to be. I can be dashing, goofy, humble, passionate; intelligent, naive, eccentric but ultimately caring. And a dork who likes cat pictures.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a visual artist currently working up in North Hollywod doing motion graphics, compositing, VFX, animation, and color work.

I've lived here for almost five years but I'm newish in spirit to the area (born in Louisana, grew up in Texas). I'm taking advantage of some incredible opportunities at the moment and having some adventures along the way.

Animation and visual music is where my heart is because they're just awesome together and I feel great when I'm able to create new projects. So even if we don't become an item, by all means, I'd love a new collaborator.
I’m really good at
I'm pretty decent enough at different art mediums like drawing, painting, acting, filmmaking, animating, and I wouldn't consider myself a good singer but I DO like to be in musicals. I can cook, paint, build things if need be, moderately good at math, a good listener (although I have a sinking suspicion that my hearing's getting worse...) and a good talker.

I'm very reliable when it comes to time management and if you need me to be somewhere, you can bet that I'll be there on time and ready to go. It's hard for me to say no but I'm just trying to be a good guy, figuring that every good deed is worth it in the end, even when it backfires. Life's too short to be bitter.
The first things people usually notice about me
In all honesty my voice. I have a certain way with words (not to mention a peculiar dialect) that makes it seem like I'm acting rather than being normal. Trust me, I'm not a good enough actor to maintain faking it this long.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies (Some Favorites or Just the Kind of Movies I Like): To make things easier, I'll keep it to movies I liked recently: Room, Mad Max Fury Road, Ex Machina, Crimson Peak, Zootopia, Star Wars VII, Big Short, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, Deadpool, Revenant. Try to go to the movies at least once a week. Among my top ones is Amadeus, Goodfellas, Proposition, LOTR Trilogy, quite a great deal of Pixar/Disney films, Fantastic Mr. Fox, the Marvel Studios lot, Secret of NIMH...

Shows: Food Network (like ANYTHING on the Food Network), Hannibal, Penny Dreadful, Game of Thrones, Bojack Horseman, Bob's Burgers, Shark Tank, Gordon Ramsay (it's a guilty pleasure, I know), South Park, Rick & Morty, Eric Andre Show, Steve Brule (ya dingus), Always Sunny, Adventure Time, Steven Universe. Majority animation, food, or the cultural zeitgeist.

Food: I'm a foodie sans the Instagram pics and superiority complex. Some of my happiest moments have been over a tasty meal. There's at LEAST ten restaurants that'd be a must for us to go to.
The six things I could never do without
Family of course (Italian dago principles: loud but we love each other)

Women in my life. As a heads up, I do surround myself by strong, cool women (and literally as I have three female housemates) and I'm happier and stronger for it.

Also: color sense. Although to be fair, I think I'd come up with more entertaining artwork if my color sense was completely out of sync with reality.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about how I can push my work and art. I think about the future and just making sure that I can succeed but also be secure and stable if things don't go according to plan.

I think of my family and my friends; even my classmates and have been wondering a lot about where Im at five years down the road. I have an idea it's just really daunting but nonetheless exciting.

And Christ in a hand basket, this election season has me thinking in overdrive. Obviously feeling the Bern, but thinking about feminism, social issues, and the will of the people to boot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing at home, working on a project, catching a film, or going to an event/party/social. Nothing says you got through the work week than a double gin and tonic.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I would join you for a Disney movie marathon any day of the week; this shouldn't be too shocking since I'm in animation but I'd even sit down and enjoy Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Mulan, Snow White, any of the princess flicks. I think Sleeping Beauty's GORGEOUS animation wise.

Forewarned: I do have an opinion of Frozen and it's a fairly long winded one.
You should message me if
You'd like to have a good conversation, a good meal, a great night, a great friend, and hopefully something more.

And if you'd like to certainly!
