My self-summary
I'm as spontaneous as they come from Miami to Tampa, Orlando and back, my weekends are full of adventure. I love stimulating my intellect and its a big aspect of attraction for me. I have as much fun as anyone but I also enjoy relaxing nights of reading or documentaries. The world is a pool of knowledge as vast as existence will allow us to experience. I think about the big things in the world, they captivate me and make me wonder. Music is my sustenance as food and water are, it means so much more to me, though. You can look in and try to set me in a file or box but you'll fail. I'm as broad and varied, as weird and amorphous, as different and similar to you as you can perceive. Read less and ask more, listen but don't set your thoughts on who I am by a single word. Puzzles never make sense unless you have all the pieces.
What I’m doing with my life
Music lover, particularly EDM. I have a pretty extensive iTunes library probably a couple grand worth of music and I consider that to be the best money I've ever spent. Work as a distribution manager at a dental lab. I would like to make a career out of mixing and producing music, my writing, or my imaginative and expressive designs and artwork. I have a career, I do well but I'm not settling for a job. I want to work doing what I love.
I’m really good at
What I need to be.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, my extremely loving and upbeat personality.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm an anglophile so the typical English lit heavy hitters and metaphysical writers, mainly Shakespeare and John Donne. I also like modern English novelists such as Ken Follett and Neil Gaiman. Either something well researched and concrete or effervescently surreal. Pablo Naruda. Tons of classics, Steinbeck, Pearl S Buck, Poe and pretty much any romantic poet that can write well. Walt Whitman... He's ok, I don't see the appeal... It's like stream of consciousness about nature, maybe I'm missing something?
Six things I could never do without
1. Music
2. Love
3. My friends and family
4. Running (it comes and goes but every time I pick it up again its always so satisfying)
5. Literature (lyrics, poetry and books are an enormous inspiration and my best and first form of self expression)
6. Dancing (none in particular, just that incredible feeling of moving to show how much you love the music. I'm not necessarily good at it either)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Big things. Gigantic ideas. Eternity. I think about astral bodies and the vastness of never ending space. I think about people and who/what/why they are. I think in terms of fundament and quintessence, at the root of everything what will I find? I think about myself, I wish to resonate at the root with love and prove to myself that I am worthy in my own eyes. I think about my fortuitous state and how beautiful my life is. I think about how I can change the world before I must leave it.
On a typical Friday night I am the Tampa Amp dancing my ass off on the rotating dance floor. Miami listening to world class headliners like Showtek, Calvin Harris, and Hardwell a club loving when the DJ actually drops songs that don't suck and aren't overplayed. a party being way too good at drinking far too much. Orlando, jumping my ass off with my friends up north and shuffling hard, pregaming harder! home reading, writing, drawing, or spanking people on Xbox.
...being way too much fun!
