My self-summary
Still causing trouble in the district for a while yet.
What I’m doing with my life
Getting as much done as possible.
No sleep till Hammersmith, as they say.

Although facing up to being semi-retired from the techie day job these days.

Brown beer, bike rides, swimming, trips into that London,
keeping tabs on local restaurants and pubs, keeping
it on the straight and narrow for the time being.
I’m really good at
Listening. Caring. Being sensitive.

Knowing which way is the way back to the car.
Being organised. Thought it through first.
The first things people usually notice about me
He's still got all his own hair and teeth, you know ;->

Not quite gone to seed just yet.

Could pass for ten years younger in the right light.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Anything by P J O'Rourke, Paul Theroux, Bill Bryson, Stephen Fry, Julie Walters or Helen Mirren

Most of Classic FM, most middle aged bloke's rock music. Usual mainstream stuff like the Doors, the Kinks, the Who, Led Zep, Deep Purple and the Stolling Rones but also weirder stuff like Frank Zappa, Philip Glass and the inevitable Half Man Half Biscuit.

Most European films where you have to think a bit and there isn't necessarily a happy Hollywood ending.

Southern European food I like a lot, and I like to experiment with new foods all the time. Bring on the starling sandwiches, the goat burgers, horse steaks, ostrich cutlets and the badger soup.

For telly, Top Gear, QI, Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, Question Time and This Week. Not that I've got much time for telly.
Six things I could never do without
Bernard the car, bicycle, passport, map of the district, walking boots and a beach nearby for the summer.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to get more things done. So little time, so much to do.
On a typical Friday night I am
Having a long hot bath, popping on the jim-jams and curling
up with a fascinating book.

Either that or down the pub for a few pints of brown with
a few mates.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have no interest in football, cricket or rugby, so I have no afternoons of shouting at the TV when my team get it wrong.
You should message me if
You fancy something sensible and well behaved with something going on between the ears. Someone to care for you and someone to care for.

Ladies who can talk science, big words like entropy even, can swim more than 100 meters, and cycle more than 10 km, should get in touch directly. We could get all lycra up and go for a ride.
