My self-summary
I enjoy doing new things and I'll try just about anything once. Except heroin. (I hear you have to do it at least twice to get the full effect)

I get a lot of joy out of feeling like a child with adult privileges. My nerf gun budget has gone up substantially over the past couple decades. I promise I'm an adult though- I do have a job, house, car, briefcase, etc.

Basically, if you like the idea of waking up on a Saturday morning to drive to the closest beach and build sand castles with someone, I might be your kind of guy. I think that whole "the world is your oyster" thing holds a lot of truth. This planet is one giant playground and I want to do all of those things that sound irresponsible but aren't actually harmful.

p.s. I don't do heroin.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a software developer. I tell electrons where to go and then, on a layer a couple levels above that, I get paid money - it's pretty sweet.

But, when I grow up, I'd like to be an artist. Or an astronaut. but I think I missed that space boat.
I’m really good at
I make the perfect grilled cheese sandwich. It's very serious. There are patents involved.

I will beat you at any type of game we play :/
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my blue eyes or my height.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I started reading Game of Thrones and then Pokemon Go Came out...

My favorite movie is Fight Club and my favorite book is Freakonomics.

Favorite show is definitely Game of Thrones and I wouldn't mind finding someone to watch the next season with. Unfortunately all of my commentary would be based around "OH EM GEE DRAGONS" and "When is Arya going to go stab a bitch?"

GoT Spoiler Alert: Now that Arya is back in town and she's started stabbing fools, I'm thoroughly excited. Also everything about GoT right now :D
Six things I could never do without
red bull
time to think
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Evolution, psychology, philosophy, capitalism/socialism/politics, sociology, ethics, and computer science.

But mostly the links between them all.

How many tattoos I would need in order to date girls with lots of them.

Another one I'm really curious about is what the world will look like after another 50-100 years of exponential progress in technology. It's a pretty exciting time to exist!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Not very original, but: I have an okc profile.
