My self-summary
I'm truthful, patient, soft-spoken, and kind. I'm a guy who loves inventing, bicycling, dancing, cartooning, dabbling in music, and being outside. I'm a bit weird in a geeky, furry, word-bending, anachronistic, costuming kind of way. I have my duties as an activist and steward of the earth, but not in any preachy sort of way. I'm trying to get back into my meditation practice because I hope to achieve greater equanimity and have less attachment. I'm still low-income because I can be really picky about doing work that serves my goals in life as much as someone else's, so I am also pretty frugal and I always try to fix, replace, or build what I need with what I've got. I'm a strong, romantic lover who loves to cuddle, give a good foot massage, and please a woman like nobody's business. I strive to be a true gentleman with regards to the fairer sex.
What I’m doing with my life
In the summer I incorporated a business I've ran for three years called Bikes Bring It LLC. I provide pedicab service to Athens on the weekends after midnight. I build my own sidecar bicycles for BBI and create custom cycles by commission under a separate business called UpCycle Bikes (yet to be incorporated). I've also been a carpenter for nine years or so, and just recently started as an apprentice with a solar installation company. I'm trying (but mostly failing) to work on a steampunk webcomic as well.
I’m really good at
Listening, saying only what needs to be said, mountain biking, drawing anthropomorphics, dancing, carpentry, throwing a yo-yo, playing frisbee, having things people need, giving hugs, and creating unique projects.
The first things people usually notice about me
I like bikes. A lot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like informative, practical, yet entertaining types of books. I enjoyed Flatland and its sequel Flatterland. Nonfiction like Fast Food Nation, The Party's Over, Traffic, The Problem of the Soul, The Botany of Desire, and A Short History of Nearly Everything. I like spiritual-type books like The Tao of Pooh, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Ishmael, and The Universe in a Single Atom. I really enjoy sci-fis too, like H.G. Wells and Larry Niven, or dystopian works like 1984, and apocalyptic scenarios like After Doomsday. I also love 19th century works, like those of Charles Dickens and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

My longest-held movie favorites are the Blues Brothers and Indiana Jones. I love extreme bike videos like Ryan Leech's Manifesto and Roam. Random list of others: What the Bleep, Fight Club, Waking Life, Vanilla Sky, Serenity, Groundhog Day, The Matrix, The Time Machine, Ink, Howl's Moving Castle, Back to the Future, and MST3K's.

I don't have a TV, so I know of very few shows aired these days, but I do watch some on the internet, like The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Firefly, and Dr. Who.

Music includes mainly ska, but also latin, swing, funk, blues, reggae, punk, rock, alternative, and jam music. The Specials, The Slackers, Dispatch, Beck, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, They Might Be Giants, 311, The Royales, Cake, Daft Punk, Umphrey's McGee, Less Than Jake, Paul Simon, Frank Zappa, The Gorillaz, Hepcat, Jamiroquai, Keller Williams, Led Zeppelin, Lenny Kravitz, The Living End, Mad Caddies, No Doubt, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Skatalites, Save Ferris, The Dance Hall Crashers, Big D and the Kids Table, Deal's Gone Bad, Sublime, The Toasters, Streetlight Manifesto, and more...

Food is wonderful. I love all kinds of food, though I'm loosely a vegetarian. I don't eat greasy fast foods much, either. Italian food may well be my favorite kind. I prefer eating organic, local food.
The six things I could never do without
bikes, sunlight, love, music, fun, and presence of mind.

Six things I try and do without:
cars, television, 9 to 5's, affluence, loud noises, and heavy drugs.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Building bicycles, tricycles, and human-powered machines that will save the world.

Or, just general imagining and fantasizing, fueled by a steady intake of science fiction and fantasy material.
On a typical Friday night I am
Street riding to the delight of A-town's drunken struggling masses, either on a mountain bike, unicycle, or (lately), a pedicab rickshaw.

Or enjoying time with my friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a furvert. I like to draw and see furry artwork, including those of a lurid nature.
