My self-summary
Howdy! I moved to Korea a year ago March 1st. I'm living in Ulsan, and I'm liking it so far. It's an industrial city, and reminds me a lot of Winnipeg, my hometown.

I've almost entirely settled in. I've been studying Korean for about a year, and I feel like I can get by pretty well here now.

I'm a teacher and an editor at ulsanonline.com.
What I’m doing with my life
In university, I studied Politics and Religion - with the hopes of getting into Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs. Unfortunately, with no foreign living experience, that turned out to be all but impossible.

So I decided to teach overseas. I decided on Korea because I had had some exposure to the culture growing up, and it seemed like a good idea at the time.
I’m really good at
Navigating traffic in my scooter~ vrrrm rrrm~

Also I'm a good cook. My favourite is Tandoori chicken and saffron rice! Now that my new apartment has an oven, I can make this dream a reality.
The first things people usually notice about me
Why don't you notice me first - and then tell me what you noticed?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't read so many books as I do news. My favourite christmas movies are Home Alone and Die Hard.

Right now I'm watching Breaking Bad, Futurama, and Dexter

I love music, and I love food. :] I've been told I'm a really good cook!
Six things I could never do without
My life wouldn't be the same without the letters I write to people overseas who I mostly talk to online. I would be a completely different person without my wanderlust, my urge to travel and explore and find new things and people.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
bacon strips
On a typical Friday night I am
Getting out of class at 10pm, and trying to decide if I want to go home or go to Ilsan beach.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I talk to myself and sometimes learn a lot from the conversations.
You should message me if
your name has a Zed in it.

you know my deepest secrets.
