The best way to describe me would be an ambivert. I'm at times really excitable and joking around and being super silly, other times I'm in my head and won't leave till I'm done thinking.
Likes: Music of pretty much any kind, karaoke, leg day, fancy beer, walking in parks... or the city... walking in general, art (I have a weird habit of finding art just lying around...), playing music outside on sunny days, dancing, lefty politics, TV shows with a consistent plot line (as opposed to being episode to episode), philosophy, comedy.
Dislikes: Ignorance in general. Being less ignorant is a thing I'm forever working at.
I really care about my friends and family; they're important to me and I try my best to help them out as much as I can because I know they've helped me out a lot.
I try to hold myself to pretty high standards in terms of how I behave. I think common decency is the way you would treat a stranger so, a person who you know should only be treated better as long as they abide by the same principal.
Ultimately, I'd like to find someone to see long-term, but I also know that type of thing doesn't happen without some trial and error so I'm basically just trying stuff out.
TV: House of Cards, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, Judge Judy (don't judge...), Rick and Morty
Movies: Anything Hitchcock, Trainspotting, Office Space, most Wes Anderson, Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, most Scorcese
Books: Stephen King, JRR Tolkien, I feel weird about saying Orson Scott Card because he's a dick bag but a good story teller. Also miscellaneous non-fiction.
Self-improvement is a big one. It's not a self-deprecating thing, I think I'm pretty great, but I love finding new ways to grow as a person, both for the sake of myself and the people I care about.
