My self-summary
So I'm not sure what to write here. I've experienced a lot in my life and at this point I'm well out of the 'discovery phase'. I know what's important to me, the type of person I am, and the type of relationship I want to have. I realize it takes time to get to know someone so I'm not looking to move too fast, but I'm not looking for anything casual either.

I'm looking for someone who enjoys both the large and small adventures in life. Day adventures are fun and travel is always amazing, but so are the "mundane" parts of life. e.g. making breakfast and eating it slowly on on the weekends or trips to Costco for ridiculous deals and $1.50 polish dogs!

Outgoing and confident or shy and reserved are both attractive, self centered or unkind is not.

Other than that, I read a lot, work out and stay active, love the outdoors especially camping, and I'm learning to sew clothes and hope to be good at it soon.

I'd like to meet someone who is open minded and challenges themselves (most people claim this, but few actually live it).

If any thing you've read struck a chord, let me know!
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to learn how to make my own clothes. I work in tech, but that is not as interesting.
I’m really good at
Cooking. I cook lot and what I cook is mostly fresh and rustic. My sister says I eat like a peasant, but it's good.
The first things people usually notice about me
I look like Charlie Day, but my voice is deeper.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite book is 1984; the ending was devastating and incredible! I felt like I had been punched in the gut.

When it comes to food I eat everything... except okra. No okra!!

Moving Pictures with Sound:
Futurama is the best TV show ever. If you can't laugh at Fry being his own grandfather or don't get teary eyed about his dog, we might not get along.

I also love movies, so here are some favorites...
Best movie of 2014... Birdman
Movie with Most Heart... Tucker and Dale vs. Evil
Best Feminist Movie... Aliens (seriously)
Movie that made me teary eyed without romance or death... American Hustle

Without music life would be a mistake (Click one and enjoy):
The Shins, Julio Inglesias, Paper Diamond, Rocky Votolato, Justice, MGMT, Miles Fisher, Paul Simon, Knife Party, Weezer, Modest Mouse, Modest Mussorgsky, Beethoven, AWOLnation, Zeds Dead, They Might Be Giants, X, Red Bone, Willie Nelson, David Bowie, Billy Joel (yes, I said it), The Naked and Famous, Emancipator, M83, The Blanks, The Kinks, Conway Twitty
Six things I could never do without
1) Family
2) Music
3) Books
4) Living in an area where having 10 Thai restaurants, 5 Indian places, and 2 Pho joints within a 3 mile radius is normal
5) An ocean and forest within reasonable distance
6) A computer (obvious I know, but seriously)

I spend a lot of time thinking about
The book 'The Righteous Mind'. Read it now thank me later. Also if I could pull off a mustache or if I would just look like a creeper.
On a typical Friday night I am
The same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I turn 75 I'll look exactly like the old Benjamin Button. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean I look like Brad Pitt now.

Also I like Xmas music.
You should message me if
You're smart.

You have strong opinions, but are open minded.

You're nice :D
