I'm looking for someone who is affectionate, warm, smart, funny, and has a loving heart. I am cultured, gentle, funny, romantic, youthful in body and mind, and fit (having run and lifted weights, with very few breaks, since 1974). People feel safe with me and confide in me, because they know I care about them and I don't betray confidences--ever. I like people and am proud of the fact that I can talk easily with everyone from the very youngest to the oldest.
I'm like Jay Gatsby in that I believe in the great possibilities in life. No one has ever used "jaded" to describe me. I have very high ambitions and believe that my best years are ahead of me.
I'm also working to become a successful children's puppeteer. The past several months I've been preoccupied with being the executor of a loved one's estate. Happy to do it, but at times all-consuming.

Long-distance relationships are fine to start with. After all, they can quickly turn into NON-long distance relationships.
