My self-summary
Daniel/Dan/Lieutenant Dan/Whatever you want/etc.
Tulsa/Catoosa Native.
Army Reservist.
Trying to figure my life out.
What I’m doing with my life
Well, I was a music major for a few years at the University of Arkansas, decided it wasn't for me, and now I'm focusing on becoming a Physical Therapy Assistant at a program here in Tulsa. I play a lot of music on the side and play professionally with an Army Rock Band based out of Mustang, OK. I've been in the Army Reserves for 5 years, so I'm in Oklahoma City one weekend a month and two weeks over the summer (sometimes more). I am also a server and a bartender at Outback Steakhouse! I also play some solo acoustic gigs around the Tulsa/OKC area! Gotta pay the bills, y'know? Still trying to figure all this out though.
I’m really good at
I play a lot of music, like I said. Guitar, piano, pretty much any brass instrument and I recently picked up the harmonica. I like to think I'm relatively okay at it, but.. It differs on the daily. I sing a lot.
The first things people usually notice about me
You know, I've never really asked someone this question so I can't answer it honestly! Why am I just now realizing this? I'll get to work on it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I'm not much of a reader, but if someone gives me a book to read, I feel obligated to read it.

Movies: I'm a sucker for a good drama. But you can never go wrong with a comedy. Some of my favorites are Forrest Gump, The Green Mile, August Rush, Anchorman, Hot Rod, Napolean Dynamite and stuff like that!

Shows: I watch a lot of Netflix and The Office is in my recently played category quite often. But I'm not a picky show-picker kind of guy. If it's even slightly interesting, I'm always down to watch it.

Music: Yeah, this is the big one. It's hard for me to operate without listening to music daily. I listen to a lot, but my go-to artists are John Mayer, Ben Rector, Mumford & Sons, Young The Giant, City & Colour, Noah and the Whale, Jason Mraz, The Lumineers, Bon Iver, The Civil Wars, Daft Punk (just their new album), Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, Ingrid Michaelson, Maroon 5, Muse and other stuff kind of along those lines of genre. I'm a sucker for acoustic music.

Food: I'm really not picky at all. If you handed me something without telling me what it is or what's in it, I'm more than likely to eat it. But I'd definitely let you know how I felt about it. Mustard. I hate mustard.
The six things I could never do without
1. Music
2. My family
3. Love
4. Electricity
5. A good night-time run
6. Did I mention music?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where my life is going and how the heck I'm going to mold it into the shape I want it to be. But.. I feel like that's what a lot of people think about mostly. Or is that just me?

But for the time being, I like to just let fate roll its course.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm either working or out with friends. It really depends. Sometimes both!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If I meet a nice girl and she makes me feel all fuzzy inside, there's almost a guarantee I will go home that night and attempt to write a song about her. I'm kind of a little bit romantic at times. Don't judge me!
You should message me if
You want to know more, I guess? I don't know. I'm not into weirdos and I just like a normal, fun, exciting girl that I finish a conversation with and am like, "Oh, okay. I liked that a lot. She's the bee's knees."

But really, don't hesitate. I'm a pretty open dude and love meeting new people. ALSO, if you're one of those "one word reply" kind of people, go pick on somebody else. Like, seriously. Go. I SAID GO AWAY.
