My self-summary
I'm a spiritual adventurer with lots of in-body experiences. I'm self-employed in 3 careers that balance me out, spiritually, physically, and mentally. I like to be creative ... write poetry, make collages, garden, design special events. I like to travel, hike, walk, swim, and soak. I meditate daily.

I'd like to meet a somewhat quirky yet sane, kind and strong, and funny man to be my companion and lover for a dance of life and travel to amazing places. I had that kind of man recently and only lost it to his early death. Ideally, our relationship would be committed to each other yet open to select others. Yeah! I'm like that!
What I’m doing with my life
I'm open to opportunities for spiritual and personal growth and earning money doing bodywork, doing spiritual guidance, and conducting weddings and other ceremonies.

For pleasure, I do various kinds of diving deep -- ecstatic dancing, meditating, creating art and poetry. ienjoy going to hot springs, and I'm grieving the loss of Harbin Hot Springs. I enjoy going to satsangs, and participating in Tantric pujas.

I've been on many wonderful trips, most recently to Iran, and before that to Italy, Spain, Morocco, Bali, Mexico, and look forward to many more.

I prefer open relationships and would like to be married, in spirit, not necessarily legally. I have two wonderful men in my life and am missing a true soul partner.
I’m really good at
listening, making a fool of myself, dancing with no steps to learn, laughing out loud for no reason, hanging out in warm pools for hours, rocking, shaking, and nurturing your body using the Trager approach, walking through the Mountain Cemetery here in Sonoma, planning trips, organizing parties, cooking healthy meals, keeping friends, writing poetry.
The first things people usually notice about me
my calm presence
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Maybe too many to list ... any book written by Richard Rohr, Julia Cameron, Starhawk. Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein. books about sex, relationships, spirituality, creativity, and gardening.

In terms of film, I really laughed at the 2000 Spanish comedy, Compassionate Sex, was mesmerized by both the 1972 film Siddhartha and another 1972 film Brother Sun, Sister Moon, and really appreciated the depth and compassion of The Sessions of 2012.

Music - I like most genres, including world music, jazz, blues, folk, rock, gospel, Latin, Sufi, as well as some classical and country western. I listen to Leonard Cohen, esp. Dance Me to the End of Love.
I love live music! And especially dance music, such as rock, zydeco, and Latin.

Food, well ... I love to eat and yet I'm very discriminating, no flour no sugar. I am not a Foodie, while I do go out to eat on occasion, mostly cook for myself. Don't try to cook for me until you get to know me!
Six things I could never do without
friends, lovers, touching, oceans, forests, vegetables, hot springs, adventures, 12-step recovery, my curiosity
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what desire means, where to go dancing next, frustrations about my addictive behaviors.

Profound experiences, such as my trip of a lifetime when I finally swam in the beautiful Mediterranean and attended the Fes Festival of World Music in 2014, and Bali twice. I'm still processing the gifts from touring Iran, a sacred journey for me.

But more than that, what I'm feeling right this minute, as well as occasional thoughts of where to travel next. I have a huge list, won't get to them all.
On a typical Friday night I am
there is no typical ... I may be out dancing, cuddling up with a friend, writing a book, or at home alone with my grief ....
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm complex, most labels don't apply ...
You should message me if
you would be happy knowing I'm dating more than one
you can describe our areas of convergence
you'd like to meet me in Sonoma
You'd like to meet me for a visit to a local beach, such as Rodeo or Muir.
have a conversation while drinking tea or walking
you have your own brilliant ideas for a get-together
if you've done a HAI (Human Awareness Institute) workshop, even better
or studied Tantra, or know how to OM ...
perhaps we could meet at a nondual Satsang, such as one given by Miranda Macpherson or Adyashanti.
The two of us
