-I am INTJ for those that may care.
-I love my life! I'll never change for you. I like who I am. My life isn't perfect, but we make the best of what we have!
-I'm a tech guy. Anything to do with computers or electronics, or gadgets I love! I went to school for software development. I built my computer from the ground up. I spend lots of time messing around with that computer or my laptop or whatever other tech device I've gotten my hands on. This also means that nine times out of ten, I can fix your computer for free--unless it's an Apple product. I might tease you if you use an Apple product.
-I'm a gamer. I love all kinds of game. If you tell me about your favorite board game, I'll be your friend forever. Lets trade steam names or battletags. Cards Against Humanity, Risk, The Last Night on Earth, or Magic the Gathering? I'd love to play these and more with anyone. Raiding in WoW or a silly round of Worms: Armageddon sounds like a wonderful way to spend a few hours. I will play just about any type of game and will probably enjoy it if its any good. I tend towards strategy (Civilization, Settlers of Catan), simulation (SimCity, X-Wing), and role playing games (World of Warcraft, Dungeons and Dragons).
-I'm a hopeless romantic. Nothing gives me more childlike wonder than watching snow fall softly around a tree decorated with Christmas lights. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie. Anything where the guy gets the girl, the girl meets the man of her dreams, or they all live happily ever after gives me warm fuzzy feelings. Of course these things are corny and cheesy, and a completely unrealistic view of the world--but it's more wishing life could be like a fairy tale. Twilight is not protected under this romanticism. Vampires should never sparkle.
-Chivalry is not dead! Opening doors, offering a hand at a step, and paying for dinner are all things that I think are perfectly acceptable to do for a woman. It's not because I think you are incapable, week, poor, or any other reason that might be negative. It's because I think those are ways of acting respectful! I won't fight you on any of it though--if you want to open your own doors I won't stop you because listening to another persons wishes is also respectful.
-I'm not really a sports guy. This doesn't mean I don't enjoy going down to the sports bar to have a few drinks and cheer whatever team to a crushing victory, or root for the underdog as they snatch a win from the clutches of an almost certain defeat. I'd probably rather go to a karaoke bar and belt out Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" instead. I'm not saying I'm a very good singer, but I have gotten many free shots from bartenders and DJs after coming off stage. That seems like an endorsement to me!
-I deliver pizza for a living. I enjoy my job. I find a zen serenity in getting to drive around while listening to whatever suits my fancy. It's not the best or most glamorous job, but it's enough. I can pay my bills, I own my own car, and I still have enough left to save a little and buy most of the things I want. Of course there are times I wish I had more money, but I kinda feel that no matter how much money I have there would still be times I'd want more. It's better to be content with what you have! My ambition has nothing to do with getting the best job or having more power, or getting paid the most, and it has everything to do with advancing my hobbies; the things I love to do! Ask me about the crazy people I deliver to.
-I have an outdoors streak. Spending seven days camping as far from civilization as possible sounds completely amazing. I enjoy going for day long hikes (especially in the snow!). Fishing and hunting, and archery, and sporting clays are all a blast! Ask me about my new favorite hobby of bowfishing.
Examples of this:
-A Post-Apocalyptic/Western about a horrible monster of a man that slowly comes to grips with his humanity because of a single act of desperate bravery.
-A contemporary Horror story about a person that wakes up one day to find everyone has vanished. Powerful specters of his past haunt him, both in his mind and in the real world.
-A Gothic/Steampunk adventure about the souls of the dead being stopped from moving and and instead being used to fuel powerful weapons of war.
I've also been told I'm an excellent Dungeon Master. It's a D&D thing, not a sex thing... I get why people were confused.
The Fifth Element is hands down my favorite movie. To that I might add Jurassic Park, The Goonies, Planes Trains and Automobiles, The Last Samurai, 30 Days of Night, and Aliens. And many, many more.
I also can get down with some anime: Samurai X, Chobits, Vampire Knight and Princess Mononoke are enjoyable.
There are many, many TV shows I'm into. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, How I Met Your Mother, Supernatural, Freaks and Geeks, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, Doctor Who, and Battlestar Galactica to name just a few.
Topping my list for music would be Pucifer, A Perfect Circle, Within Temptation, Tool, NIN, and The Birthday Massacre. There are many, MANY, more artists that I enjoy aswell.
I eat almost any kind of food (as long as it's not too spicy, I know I'm a wimp) but a nice rare steak with a baked potato is always king. Chinese and Mexican food is always great as well.
*A note on LDRs. I have "located anywhere" marked on my profile because think modern technology makes the world much smaller than it use to be and lets the idea of long distance dating be a possibility. I'm not going to drop what I'm doing and fly to where ever you might be in the world or expect you to do the same. I still would probably like to get to know you, and maybe even have a "Skype date" to see if there might be something there. It's not really ideal, but nothing ever is so we make the best of the world we live in.
And online games are great!
