My self-summary
Hey, I'm Emily! I'm a student at University of Lincoln, just finished my third year and will hopefully be going onto a Masters course at the same place this September.

I love playing games (mainly PC, though I occasionally use my flatmates console), and spend a lot of time studying when it's term time, or at my part-time job. Really not confident with meeting new people, and probably wouldn't want to go on dates, though I'm open to meeting up to get to know someone and then see whatever.
What I’m doing with my life
Just finished my English BA degree and waiting for confirmation of that, then moving onto a Masters this year. Also work part-time at a corner store. Maybe do a PhD eventually, or teaching, nkt sure. Aside from that, I don't have many other plans. Definitely pets though. Know how some people have their kids' names planned out? Yeah, I have my cats.
I’m really good at
Jokes and humour. I think there's nothing better than making people laugh with me. Does speed reading count? If so, totally having that. Writing, pretty good at that, and I play a mean game of snap. Break the table mean.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a big bundle of fun, and I unashamedly put emphasis on big, to make it clear. I make up for it with bad puns, though.

I laugh, a lot. My friend says sometimes I sound like Mutley from Wacky Races, and you know, I can work that vibe.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Fantasy books, definitely, and supernatural stuff. The Inheritance Cycle, The Magister Trilogy, His Dark Materials, things like that. My favourite modules at uni have been Post-Apocalyptic and Science Fiction, so that gives a good idea.

Spend way too much time gaming. Dragon Age is my absolute favourite series ❤ Mainly open world games. Recently finished Horizon: Zero Dawn and fell in love. The visuals are stunning and everything I could have wanted.

If you want me to never stop talking, just ask me anything Dragon Age related.
Six things I could never do without
Books, my cat, spices for cooking, games (naturally), independence and my friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future. It's really important to me that I get the job that I eventually want, though I'm having a little fun at my part-time place while studying. Will definitely complain about the early starts!
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing stuff with my flatmates, working or doing the multitude of university work I now have.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The usual, 'scared of failing at life' sorts of things. Who isn't?
You should message me if
You want to be friends, or possibly see of something happens from that. I'm not on here for one night or forever, but somewhere inbetween to waste away the months. Preferably with someone who shares my love for Chinese and Netflix!
