My self-summary
I'm laid-back, tactile and gentle, so I'm told, with a dry and off-the wall sense of humour.
Good with animals, children and spreadsheets. Can't stand soap operas, spiteful people, or spiders but OK with all other wildlife and pets, snakes and rats, etc.
I have a creative streak, love tinkering and making things, and have always got to be busy.
I can lack tact in certain situations, but don't mean to offend.
I DO suffer fools gladly. Well, you need someone to blame don't you? :)
I am a widower and have one grown-up son that does not live with me.
Own house, car, boat, push-bike, and cat.
What I’m doing with my life
Fixing-up my brand new house and garden.
Looking for another property to do up.
Sailing my boat.
Cycling
Looking for something different to do for a living
Having recently moved to Hampshire from Surrey I'm exploring my new 'home' county. It would be fun to have someone to do it with :)
I’m really good at
Nothing, well maybe bodging. However, I can do most things to an acceptable standard. Give me a challenge.
The first things people usually notice about me
Sun glinting off the top of my head, and that I probably got dressed in the dark.

The six things I could never do without
Tea
Coffee
Water
Air
My eyes
My sense of touch
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The fate of the human race. Sailing. Gardening. Sex. Not necessarily in that order.
On a typical Friday night I am
Cooking and watching TV on the sofa with the cat, or ...
Passage Planning, or ...
Going on a date
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Hmm, I'll have to think about that one.
You should message me if
You are a really nice person.
If you fancy going sailing.
If you fancy exploring Hampshire's countryside, pubs, and restaurants by car, bike or on foot.
You have nothing better to do and just want to chat.
If you know any good jokes.
