My self-summary
A man. In Los Angeles. Having a strange existential moment trying to summarize myself right now. But today I'm having a good beard day. Like William Riker good.
Been written up in a couple fashion blogs if that means something to you.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm thinking about how I saw Robosaurus last weekend at an airshow. And that makes me smile. Besides that, I love to travel. I travel for work, for fun and to teach. Been to every continent except Antarctica, which I'd like to get to someday. Besides travel, I love staying active, whether it's hiking, crossfit, SUPing, triathlon, going to museums, etc. I also bike all over. Doing nothing is fun too though. Professionally, I've been a writer and producer for television for the past five years and many things before that and I hope many more things besides that. I make people laugh. And hopefully think. About laughs. And thoughts. I'm going to stop now.
I’m really good at
stuff and things. And making people laugh and feel good about themselves. Though not always at the same time. Kind of repeated myself here, I realize. I'm also really good at remembering my dreams. The sleepy time ones. And the others. But I have a vivid dream life, is what I'm saying. Also, off-the-cuff seasonal flower knowledge. Or so I've been told.
The first things people usually notice about me
My non-threatening scruffiness and chest hair. And my lips. I have nice lips.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Lots. The good ones. Let's leave something to talk about. That's my way of side-stepping this until I have more time.
Six things I could never do without
my tweed blazer collection, my sunny disposition, baths, a healthy sense of caution coupled with open-mindedness, spontaneity, and hot jams.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
which jams are the hottest jams. And if there are right answers to these profile questions.
On a typical Friday night I am
out and about.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
here is that I once gave myself a haircut that went horribly wrong. And I tried to hide it. Which didn't work. But there are things much more interesting than that. First that sprang to mind.
You should message me if
you dig the chili that I'm serving up. Whatever that means.
