My self-summary
I'm a single dad who has had sole custody of two daughters since 1994. One is now a surgeon in Portland and the other is a freshman in college.

I've been self employed for almost 35 years providing computer services and was the owner, founder, and chief-bottle-washer of the largest independent computer service company in the D.C. area which I closed in December, 1999.

An incurable romantic and optimist, I always live up to the promises I make, and though a little worn, I would promise you nothing less than the best of my love.

What matters most is communication; a willingness to hear, listen, forgive, and to have faith. None of us is perfect and, as we age, it becomes even more vital that we examine what we both need or want, how we can help each other to achieve those, and to understand what, really, is important to our future.

I don't mind doing the chores (heck, I've been doing most of them for a long time, now), promise to do almost anything which needs to be done, and to always be faithful to the hope of what tomorrow may bring for us.

I'm easygoing and flexible, too smart for my own good, faithful as a puppy dog, chivalrous, honest, and I always give more than I ask of anyone else.
