My sister and launched a business right after Thanksgiving and it's keeping me crazy busy, especially heading into the holiday season. As I have full-time day job that I've had for 7 years, it seems to be filling up a lot of my free time. A little TOO much of my free time. I need to break out of here! Help me break out of here. Seriously…send help. What's this daylight people speak of?
I’m really lucky with the friends I have in my life. I'm sure everyone says that. But, I’ve got great people in my life. I hope you do too.
I take a week off each summer to teach Adapted Yoga for Disabilities to 70 kids with Spina Bifida, aged 7-18 at a camp. It’s the most exhilarating, exhausting, profound week of my year. I love those kids and the people who work there.
I’ve traveled. I’d like to do more. When in doubt, more travel. I’ve been to Europe a few times, the Virgin Islands twice, Belize, India and China. I love the Pacific Northwest. I’d love to go to Vancouver, Alaska, New Mexico, Spain, Croatia, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. I’m sure there will be new places I’d like to go tomorrow.
Things that I love:
Irreverent and witty humor
Cards Against Humanity
Dancing while doing the dishes
Things that make me want to throw up:
Mariah Carey's song "All I Want for Christmas"
All the rest of Mariah Carey's songs
I love documentaries and more indie types of films. I do like some Hollywood movies, but I find myself rolling my eyes at the storylines quite a bit.
I'm much more into non-fiction versus fiction. Perhaps that correlates with my love of documentaries.
I'm just going to say it. I'm a great cook. Toot toot on that one. I love sushi, Thai, Vietnamese and Mexican. Love all of the farm to table restaurants that have come here and would love to explore more. I love spicy food and I loathe green peppers.
Homeland, Breaking Bad, Project Runway, House of Cards
Dark coffee with cream.
A map app.
A sense of humor.
*If your not handy I guess that's cool too. I'm sure you have other great qualities.
