My self-summary
I'm the youngest of four and my siblings and I are quick to smile and be cheery. I also have a very quiet side and appear to be intense sometimes, but that's just my bitchy resting face. I'm soft spoken. I love reading and yoga and sketching and meditation. I adore animals. I'm currently in a creatively satisfying profession that keeps me young and in shape. I don't like to drink alcohol so much any more. I rarely touch it in fact. I like natural highs, like that that comes with dancing and exercise and being with someone you love. I believe one can never give or get enough hugs. I like movies, walking/hiking, shopping (if you insist), shooting pool, going to baseball games, playing golf... I have old-fashioned, good manners. I can talk like Donald Duck. I'm comfortable around kids. I don't like pretentiousness although at times I'm sure I radiate some!
What I’m doing with my life
Who are you, my mother?
I’m really good at
I'm really good at golf. It's been a life-long love. I enjoy practicing as much as playing, especially chipping. There's not much more relaxing then practicing chipping on a secluded green somewhere out in nature. It can be quite meditative. It's akin to fishing in that way I suppose. I also enjoy teaching as well and I'd love to find someone who'd love to learn. It's something I love to share and I have a lot of patience.

As for relationships, I haven't been in too many recently and I'm way out of practice and not at all sure I know what I'm doing sometimes! So you would need a bit of patience too. I don't care about age or background or education level as I'm trying to find a spiritual match here. Eventually I hope I do meet someone this way with whom love blossoms, but I'd be happy if some friendships come as well.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love to read and there are just too many books to list, let alone remember! Whenever I have a day off, it usually starts with some reading. I don't enjoy watching TV so much, I find it invasive. Here's a very short, very incomplete list: Cold Mountain, Silence of the Lambs, Talking Heads, American Beauty, The Kite Runner, Slingblade, The English Beat, Fargo, R.E.M., Siddhartha, The Andy Griffith Show, The Police, DMB, Breaking Bad, The Prince of Tides, Pat Metheny Group, Shawshank Redemption, Seinfeld, The Honeymooners, Santana, that Shake it Off song. All music really, except hardcore rap, and Polka.
Six things I could never do without
Human interaction, Espresso, good shoes, music, the right tools, the coming of Spring following each Winter
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. Isn't that a human condition?
On a typical Friday night I am
with friends if possible, or maybe out somewhere people-watching, or at home reading a good book.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like to dance by myself. If I'm alone.
You should message me if
you're not too shy
