My self-summary
im a very simple man who always finds himself in complex situations. i am very laid back but can and will get fired up about some things. also, i can not spell to save my life, so please, go easy on me.

i have a very quick wit and make lots of subtle jokes that if you didn't understand i was joking without being told, i would look like a total idiot to you. i have a degree in theater, i did tech work and it is related to what i do now.

i also love history. i went to college to be a history teacher. i wouldn't mind being a teacher down the road. i am told i would be great at it and it has always been something i wanted to do.
What I’m doing with my life
i work for a large company with many offices around the world doing the most exciting thing you can imagine. If you guessed Logistics, well, you were right. but honestly, who guesses logistics? thats not even an answer that you would catch on Jeopardy. i mean props but we need to work on that.
I’m really good at
things i am good at.
1. making funny jokes/observations
2. back rubs
3. making inappropriate jokes/observations
4. Navigating around new places
5. making mac and cheese (with out reading the instructions!)
6. not sleeping when it is time to sleep.
7. HUGS. i am well known in many circles for my hugs. just sayin
The first things people usually notice about me
i am a big guy with side burns, so that kinda makes me stand out a bit. (sorry to say the mustache in the pic is fake. but someday...)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
hmmm. wish i read more than i do. it a long story. i do remember some of my favorite books were by RA Salvatore. I also loved Lord Of the Flies (when not read for school).

I will admit, i am hard to please when it comes to movies. I have a soft spot for really good terrible scifi movies like the starship trooper series. I watch from paris with love at least once a month. Tears of the Sun and Blood diamond were amazing. Wrist Cutters: A Love Story is easily one of the greatest movies ever made.

tv shows, i dont watch too much tv. I do like Tosh.0, Shark Tank, Mash, Farscape, all but the last season of the new Battle Star Galactica, and of course the greatest series of our time Game of Thrones(its up there with firefly anyways)

music is scattered at best. i like new country like jason aldea and sugarland. i also love linkin park and old maroon 5. i am also one of the few people who is not ashamed to admit they like nickleback (boo and hiss all you want, i love it). unless it is jazz, i am sure i have a few songs i that style i really like.

as far as food is concerned, i like most. as i have gotten older, i enjoy spicier foods more. i do not enjoy cooked vegetables. many misunderstand and think i dont like vegetables, i do, i hate mushy cooked ones is all. i mostly eat like i was still in college though. hotdogs and burgers. mac and cheese. the staples.
Six things I could never do without
hmmm. that's tough.
pocket knife, whiskey, laughter, random conversations, texting, and the web.
On a typical Friday night I am
its a 50/50 for me. im either at home having my mind sucked out by netflix, or im out causing trouble with my friends around chicago.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
i over think things and usually wont make the first move until it is so obvious it is ok to that it hurts.

also, i tend to get nervous around girls i like and am actually interested in and kind of go to the default around your parents mode. like very nice and polite and trying to be on your best behavior. i know, it's terrible.
You should message me if
send me a note if you enjoyed what you read or would like me to elaborate on anything you read. or if you are bored. or you like bigger men with glorious facial hair.
