My self-summary
Equal parts Artist / Geek, with a dash of love for the outdoors.

Media Maker, Traveler, Storyteller.

Lover of Design / Aesthetics in all things.

Passionate about new forms of interaction, history, art, design, film, games, mountains and hotsprings.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently a Creative Director at an interactive agency, trying to craft meaningful experiences out of noise and distraction.

Prior, traveled around for a few years speaking on my past work with Interactive Storytelling. Glamorous + fun for a while, I eventually burned out and am enjoying the calm stability of regular work.

Weekends outside, in mountains / trees or away at hotsprings and rivers.

A social animal, I do most things with other people.

If we get along I may just try to enlist you for an adventure of the following:

Rock climbing / mountain biking / yoga / ski / snowboard / scuba / backpacking / raft guiding / hot spring soaking, and [fill in the blank]
I’m really good at
- Bringing people together around my dining room table

- Explaining things when armed with a laptop and projector

- Picking people up when I hug them hello

- Touch + Intimacy
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. You'll see.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
RadioLab - This American Life - 99 Percent Invisible
Chet Faker - Bonobo - Beck - Postal Service - SBTRKT - Hot Chip
Wes Anderson - Coen Bros - Luc Besson - Hedwig and the Angry Inch - Daily Show - Chuck Pahlaniuk - Malcolm Gladwell - Ready Player One - WWZ

Down with pretty much all cuisine, doing mostly Paleo right now, and cook quite a bit. I prefer fresh local unprocessed food that didn't suffer much on its way to my plate.
The six things I could never do without
- other people
- exercise
- meaningful work
- a hot tub full of salt water after a hard day
- coconut water

That's it. Couldn't come up with a 6th one.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How we are rapidly depleting all of our natural resources and the virtual world we will likely escape to so we don't have to confront it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Anything but typical...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The only song I can sign out loud with confidence is The General by Dispatch. That song is my national anthem.
You should message me if
If you can wax poetic about things Geeky /+ Arty. Or if you want to do something Sporty.

If you think we'd make good lovers / activity partners / long term potential, hit me up :)
