My self-summary
Hello! I'm a medical technologist working at a small hospital in Syracuse. After finishing college and living here for the better part of seven years, I finally moved here more permanently to start the next phase of my life. I'm still getting used to it, but it's exciting, and I hope to meet some interesting people along the way.
What I’m doing with my life
Like I said before, I'm currently working as a medical technologist at a small hospital. That's basically a fancy way of saying that I'm a lab tech, responsible for all of the testing that's done on patients. It's a fairly new job, and I only recently became fully certified, but I love it so far.

I also hold a black belt in karate, and I try to teach when I can get back to my hometown to do so.
I’m really good at
Possessing more random knowledge than anyone really needs to, teaching kids to fend off bullies and learning, myself, in the process, impressing the higher-ups, whoever they may be, and fixing that irritating computer problem and making it look easy.

I'm also told I'm not a bad singer. I've been a member of a choir in the past, as well as a barbershop quartet.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically, people notice my above-average height and my glasses, which I'm told are pretty unique. After that, usually they notice my sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books-mysteries and thrillers, especially anything by James Patterson. Scientific texts have always been important in my education, and I still find the material interesting.
Movies-science fiction movies, especially Star Wars, comedies, and movies like Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan, Braveheart, and Marvel movies.
Music-I'll listen to just about anything that I think sounds good, old or new, but my favorite genre has always been classic rock.
Food-I love a good burger, as well as oriental cuisine, Mexican, Italian, you name it. I'm really not too picky, although lately I've been trying to eat healthier.
The six things I could never do without
Oxygen (For oxidative phosphorylation, mostly)
My loving family and pets (Counting them as one)
A few close friends
My glasses (I'm basically blind without them and I don't like contacts)
My tech gadgets (Smartphone, laptop, etc.)
Humor (The world would be a dark place without it)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My future, and where my new career will lead me from here. I also think about how all of my family and friends are doing if I haven't seen them in a while.
On a typical Friday night I am
I've been known to go out to bars on occasion, but I could also just as easily be hanging out with family or friends or enjoying a quiet evening at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't keep very much private, which is probably why I can't think of anything.
You should message me if
You're looking for an honest, trustworthy guy who will get to know you and treat you well.
