My self-summary
I'm a southern gentleman, but I will never slap you with a glove and demand satisfaction. That's just plain rude. Besides, I'm easily satisfied.

I'm also a straight edge hippie. I don't drink or do drugs, but I like sticking it to "the man" as much as the next person. I'm also acutely aware that as a white, heterosexual male who was privately educated since high school, I'll probably end up being "the man" by the time I'm 40. So, I try to keep the self righteousness to a minimum when I challenge the establishment.

I once told my mom I wanted to be a scientist by day and a ninja by night. Now, I have a PhD in biomedical engineering and I Brazilian break dance fight. My inner child is very happy.

I'm an engineer who desires frivolity. I'm a rationalist who revels in absurdity. I'm an idealist who grudgingly admires pragmatism. I'm a_______(noun) who _______(seemingly contradictory phrase). I'm a math nerd who enjoys MadLibs.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm in GA indefinitely as I write journal articles to expand my CV and look for work. In my spare time, I like to dance and play capoeira
I’m really good at
Dancing, fixing things, and listening.
The first things people usually notice about me
I laugh at a lot of things. I have a low threshold for comedy. My friends tell me it's great for their self esteem.

The six things I could never do without
Music, sunshine, companionship, hope, faith (not the necessarily the religious kind), and challenges. I understand I took this question a little more seriously than was probably intended, and that the answers are kind of cheesy. I chalk it up to all those years of Sunday School.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I need to be effective, and what I need to be happy.
On a typical Friday night I am
Just moved to GA, and I don't know what my "scene" will be like here. I am open to suggestions.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm really self-concious, so that's all you're gonna get out of me for this section.
You should message me if
You're looking for a dance partner
