My self-summary
I am the type who toes the line between introvert and extrovert on a daily basis.
Sometimes my shyness and awkwardness gets the best of me but I can also be the best conversation partner you've ever had.
I'm not overly political, but I do fall on the left of the spectrum. I'm big on social causes and would love someone to volunteer with to make the lives of others better.
A good debate (not argument) always make my day, whether it be about music, movies, video games, cars, whatever is on your mind.

I'm not big on one night stands, but I don't think rules really apply to online dating. I will freely admit I like to take relationships slower than most people. If you want to friends, date or just text those all sound great but I am not looking to be tied down with children or pets at this point of my life.

If you are someone who likes to just sit at home and watch TV every night, it won't really work. I desire adventure, spontaneity and challenges. Adventure doesn't always have to cost money and there's plenty of ways to find it.

I really don't have a type but I am drawn to nerdy and quiet girls. I appreciate confidence but a huge ego isn't a big turn on.

To me, the sexiest thing in the world is a girl who doesn't care about being sexy.

I'm odd but loyal to a fault.

I don't know where I'm going and how I'm getting there but I can't wait to arrive - and it'd be cool if you came along.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in the wonderful world of journalism. I sometimes feel that my life is a reality show that everyone is in on except me.

I am the only one of my friends without kids or a family.

Am I missing out? Who knows...
I’m really good at
Talking my way out of trouble.
Helping others in need.
Driving.
Trivia.
I can be an excellent judge of character (or so I've been told)
The first things people usually notice about me
I dunno, you tell me!?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
TV - Community, South Park, Supernatural, Walking Dead (those are the four right now). Old school - pretty much any cheesy 80s to 90s show, Daredevil, Trailer Park Boys, Criminal Minds, Law and Order, Unsolved Mysteries, I also love watching documentaries

Movies - Ghostbusters and Dazed & Confused are tied for first. Everything else is 2nd.

Music - Twenty One Pilots, Paramore, Kings of Leon, Led Zeppelin, Nas, Eminem, Atmosphere, Brave Shores, City & Colour, Alexisonfire, The Clash, Rancid, Kanye West, and the list goes on and on... I pretty much have no boundaries or limits to what I will listen to (excluding country, although there are exceptions to that rule even)
The six things I could never do without
- Wikipedia
- Toronto Mike's many podcasts
- South Park reruns
- Coffee
- 7 hours of sleep a night
- Mapquest
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. An idle mind is a wasted mind!
I admittedly spend too much time thinking about things in the past, good or bad.
I think about the zombie apocalypse... sometimes it frightens me, sometimes I think of myself as one of the ones who survive, like Rick Grimes.
On a typical Friday night I am
A "typical" Friday night sounds pretty boring. It depends on how extroverted or introverted I feel. I could be at home watching cheesy 80s horror movies on YouTube, out for coffee with a friend i haven't seen in 10 years or at the bar making horrible choices. I could be out for a late night hike (I am definitely a night owl) or I may very well be sleeping. A "typical" Friday night frightens me.
You should message me if
If feel like I would be interesting conversation. I just like talking to people.
