I think a lot, and I speak what I think. I don't mince words.
I can shake my ass at a concert.
I won't judge you based on your bookshelf, but I'm partial to readers.
-being the most charming and the most awkward, sometimes paradoxically at the same time, depending on circumstance
A Clockwork Orange (book), Emerson and all the transcendentalists, political and social and educational theory (Butler, Foucault, Freire), philosophy (I have a nerdy obsession with social contract theory and philosophy of mind), anti-neoliberalism, Ginsberg, young adult fiction, anything post apocalypse.
Harold and Maude, sci fi shit, zombies, sometimes trashy reality tv hits the spot, horror movies (both good and bad), funny action, feel-good movies, quirky movies, and shows driven as much by character as by plot (Game of Thrones, Oz, Breaking Bad... you get the picture).
The Roots, Radiohead, Talib Kweli, Atmosphere, Modest Mouse, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, RJD2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Darondo, Bon Iver, Jose Gonzales, Hot Chip, Justice, TV on the Radio, Curtis Mayfield, Nina Simone, Steve Miller Band, and many, many others.
fresh fruit, green chile (spicy food is my favorite food), grandma's spaghetti and meatballs, ceviche, sushi, ramen (the real kind), oysters, watercress, arugula, basil, tomatoes, cheese, crackers, soul food, street food, holiday food, and most other foods from anywhere. all the vegetables. some of the meats, but they're expendable.
i hate watermelon. watermelon is my food nemesis. I enjoyed eating fried scorpions, but I just can't do watermelon.
I usually go out on Saturdays, sometimes during the day for a fun adventure (sailing or tracking down some good new restaurant or other spontaneous happenings) and sometimes at night for a fun adventure (going to a party or seeing a movie or going to a bar). The fun adventure part is the key.
