As part of my job I work at events such as festivals and concerts as well as more formal occasions like weddings and corporate gigs so have pretty varied social circles and taste in music too. Now and then I get to go overseas with work and always thought it would be nice to have a travel partner. I have travelled a fair bit outside of work as well and visited some amazing countries with a fair few places still on my to-do list such as South America and Russia, I took a solo trip around the world a few years back and lived/worked in New Zealand for a while which opened my eyes to different cultures and also taught me quite a bit about myself.
I'm not sure I really have a type, I guess someone easy going and open minded to something long term. Someone creative could be good, but really anyone who has interests outside of tv and pubs is definitely heading in the right direction. I am not someone that is driven by money, more by achievement and reaching goals, that said I do like nice things and can be a little snobby when it comes to food! I find myself saying "If something's worth doing, it's worth doing well" so have a bit of an all or nothing approach to life, nothing being done properly too (if I watch a film it's popcorn, sweets, lights down, nachos, dips.. you get my drift!).
Rants.. I have fairly strong opinions, that's not to say I don't listen to others or am not open to changing them, but I do think a lot and would like to think I've got a pretty well balanced view on life and like to play devil's advocate now and then. Here's a pof niggle:
I'm not a fan of text speak, especially on here. If you can't even be bothered to type a full word then you're probably not that bothered about making any sort of impression, and definitely don't meet the all-or-nothing criteria!
I am always impressed at a lady with a bit of confidence and drive.. so a message received is generally a plus point.

I just spend alot of time thinking, possibly too much. When you find yourself thinking about thinking (like now) it's time to worry!
