My self-summary
King of the hill seeks Queen of the damned.

*PRO TIP: Don't feel like sending a message because you can't think of anything to say at the moment? Brain farts happen to the best of us. Just click the stars and I'll get the hint*

Warning two: No love for neo-liberals. If progressive politics aren't your thing, then I'll probably annoy you. I may work in the tech sector, but I abhor gentrification and the effect it's had on the area. Bring back the artists and weirdos! Send back the yuppies!

My screen name is a portmanteau of "digital" and "Italia", not "digital" and "genitalia". Figured I should clear that up.

Moved to the bay in Sept of '09 from Seattle where I lived for a year. Lived in Honolulu, Hawaii before that for 5 years, and before that in a shitty little town in SoCal for 2. Originally? I'm from Michigan and I don't really miss it at all (except for the people didn't seem as pretentious as most of the west coast). I was enlisted in the Navy for 5 1/2 years and traveled all over the world because of it.

Into the nitty gritty of what drives me. I'm into Computers, programming, movies and their trivia, music and its trivia, trivial trivia, video games, music production. I try to find humor in just about anything, laugh at the wrong moments, and interject pop-culture references into everyday conversation. Trying to broaden my horizons as much as possible is my main drive in life. I don't think that anyone should be able to be described in a handful of adjectives.

PLEASE feel free to check out and comment on my "Food pr0n" journal entry. I'm always looking for comments and suggestions :) There is also more in my Facebook album here:
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a computer technician, yes.. a walking Bay Area cliche` in that regard.

I also do some indie game development and audio production as a hobby. Overall, I'm doing what I love and looking to find new and interesting things to learn. Which brings us to...
I’m really good at
collecting hobbies it seems. I'm a fairly decent cook, working mostly with meat (though as of 4/13, I'm trying out the vegetarian thing and.. doing pretty well with that too :P ), composing pieces of music, modifying electronic gadgets to do things they aren't suppose to. I'd also say I'm pretty good at lightening up the mood when things get a bit too serious.

I'm a professional amateur.
The first things people usually notice about me
My septum ring, as odd as that may be. 9 times out of 10, I'll have random people walk up to me and have the first words out of their mouth be "Did that hurt?". Puzzled for a moment about what they speak of, I start running through the mental Rolodex: "Does it hurt to be so weird/ugly/insert pejorative term here", "Did it hurt when I fell from heaven"?, etc.. until it clicks. Ahh, the septum ring.

Also: I don't smile in photos. My first instinct when someone pulls out a camera is to exaggerate my facial expressions, so I counter that by removing ALL expression. I'm not perpetually pissed off, I promise.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why yuppies gentrified the city when they spend all their free time in the woods? Just... move to the woods.

Whether it's numberwang or not

Why a lot of people are embarrassed to have a profile on here, as if it's any worse than meeting someone at a bar/club. "So, then we started rubbing our naughty bits indiscriminately against one another, then she threw up on my shoes and spent the rest of the night in the bathroom crying her eyes out. That's how I met your mother, kids."
On a typical Friday night I am
Same thing I try to do every night, Pinky. Trying to take over the world.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've always wanted to break out into a spontaneous musical/dance number in public and have everyone around join in ala "(500) Days of Summer"/"Clerks 2".

I'm insanely experimental about kink and have a laundry list of things I'm into. Ask if you want OR you can just check out my fetlife profile: (Yes, I'm a kinkster, no I'm not shy about it, and NO this doesn't mean I just want to get into your pants). Like-minded folk are always awesome to find.

Also, and only because I keep reading the same response to this OKC question over and over again: The question is "The MOST PRIVATE thing you're WILLING to admit", not "What's your deepest, darkest secret that no one else knows about". Sharing something interesting about yourself that others may not know is not necessarily a bad thing. Just saying. :P
You should message me if
You want to help me learn Korean for an upcoming trip! That or...

(1) You feel pretty and/or witty and/or gay.
(2) You want me to cook you something.
(3) The power of Christ compels you. (Unless you really think he told you to, then don't. Uber religious people freak me out).
(4) You're nerdy, dirty, and wordy.
(5) You're fucking hilarious.

Also note: PLEASE have time. Ideally, you're looking for something serious (or at least has the potential to become). I'll make the time for you, so please return the favor.

Please be a geek of some sort. We probably won't last long otherwise :P
